“It’s very good and surprising cheap for being next to a large subway station.
Parking: Roosevelt Avenue is one of the most busy roads nearby. Jackson Heights is a very busy neighborhood. Good luck if you need to find parking.
Kid-friendliness: The place is kid friendly.
Wheelchair accessibility: The place is wheelchair accessible.“

“The people who work here are all so lovely, in addition to the incredible products they sell. These donuts are the best donuts I've ever had, and the fact that they are a nut free business.... Well, i can't want to come back to New York and have more!! The croissant donut was out of this world and the stuff of dreams, if you like donuts!! Thank you, Donut Pub, for another memorable visit!!“

“BEST DONUTS I HAVE EVER HAD! If you’re ever in NYC, make sure to try Kora’s donuts. These donuts are AMAZING! They are all infused with Filipino flavor and culture. I first heard about them on YouTube when a food channel featured them. These are rich and decadent donuts without being overwhelmingly sweet. They are custom made too and made fresh the day of pick up. Check them out!!“

“I go to New York City once year: My co-workers and I take a group of theater students, we see 8 broadways shows, I get a *carrot cake donut* at the Doughnut Plant in Grand Central Station, and I’m a happy girl for one more year. I always have a good experience! I get my favorite, and then something new. Everything I’ve ever tried there has been phenomenal. (This time is was a coffee cake doughnut - it was inspired! SO good!) If Doughnut Plant moved its location to the moon, I’d probably just start taking my theater students there instead, just so I could get my yearly taste test at Doughnut Plant.“

“I got the Cappuccino Croissant Donut, and wow!! It was hands down one the best donut I’ve ever had! It had the perfect amount of sweetness, was light and flaky, yet somehow still filling. I loved it so much that I ended up taking another one home.
They also have plenty of other flavors, including classics like jelly, strawberry jelly, glazed, and chocolate. While I’m sure you can’t go wrong with any of them, I definitely recommend stepping outside your comfort zone and trying one of their specialty flavors. You won’t regret it!“
“Born and raised in NYC and was skeptical about this Cali spot coming here. Loved it. Staff is great too. Chris realized there was a mistake in my order and the next time I visited he made sure to rectify it and then some. Great donuts, great store and staff.“

“Best vegan chocolate croissant! Since the closure of Le Petit Monstre & L’impremiere, it was difficult to find a place that makes authentic and proper vegan croissants. Unregular nails it. Also had an excellent plant-based SEC on a round croissant. Excellent! Makes me wonder why they don’t just make everything vegan, no one would notice. Please open a vegan location in Williamsburg!“

“The Ultimate Dairy-Free Treat Spot🍩
If you have kids with severe dairy allergies like I do, you know how stressful it is to find safe treats. Walking into Cloudy Donut Co. was pure joy because the entire shop is 100% vegan! There is zero worry about milk or butter cross-contamination, so my kids could safely pick whatever they wanted.
We really enjoyed the fact that they have mini donuts and muffins alongside their regular sizes—it made it so easy to try a bunch of different things! The flavors are completely out of this world. My teenagers love real meat and dairy and are usually tough critics of vegan food, but these hit the nail on the head. They are so airy and delicious that you would never guess they are plant-based. We will definitely be regular customers!“

“My opinion is 9.1/10. Def lived up to hype. I had the yuzu, has a lemon flavor and I did enjoy it. If back in the area would try other flavors I heard the boba is what they are know for. “I ordered Duck Donuts through Uber Eats, and they were still warm when they arrived, which was great. The donuts were fresh and soft, but they were a little too sweet for my taste. If you have a big sweet tooth, you’ll probably enjoy them, but I wish they weren’t quite as sugary.“

“These donuts are AMAZING! As someone who is not vegan and usually doesn’t like vegan desserts I was blown away with how delicious they taste. You would never be able to tell. Gigi is so friendly and personable and each customer who came in during the duration of my dining time seemed to be frequent customers who were greeted with friendly conversation and left with a smile on their face. I will definitely be going back and highly recommend supporting this small business to keep it thriving!“

“I’m donut? gets 5 stars from me. 🍩 The texture is what makes it different—super soft and chewy inside, with a slight crunch on the outside.
It’s definitely not your typical-style donut, and that’s exactly why I enjoyed it so much.
If you’re a donut lover and want to try something a little different, this is a must-try. 👍😋“

“Their focaccia bread is by far my favorite. And this is coming from someone who is a croissant fanatic over focaccia bread, in general. Been to a lot of bakeries and yet the flavor, crust, texture of their bread is unparalleled. Their kouign amann is VERY good but their bread blew me away. Incredibly friendly staff as well. I’ve seen the owner there every time I visit and can tell they care deeply about their pastries and bread. Highly, highly recommend!“

“Went at around 8:30pm on 7/16 and there was one guy working all by himself. In the 10 min my friends and I were in there, he fielded 2 sizable online delivery app issues while also giving excellent customer service to the in-store customers. He was a total rock star and super pleasant the entire time. Doughplant, give this guy a raise and maybe an extra hand on Thursday night off Bedford Ave.“

“If you’re ever in the Bronx and you don’t stop at Gino’s Pastry Shop, you’re missing out on a piece of real New York history. This Arthur Avenue staple has been serving up authentic Italian pastries for decades, and it’s exactly what you want from an old-school bakery — no frills, just flavor and tradition. The cannoli? Legendary. They fill them fresh to order, and the shells are crisp, flaky perfection with creamy ricotta that tastes like it was whipped up by someone’s Nonna in the back. The sfogliatelle and lobster tails are equally iconic — sweet, buttery, and loaded with filling. Don’t sleep on the rainbow cookies either — they’re dense, almondy, and always spot-on. The shop itself is cozy, with that classic Italian-American charm. Gino and the crew treat you like family, whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth. Prices are super fair for the quality, and it’s cash-only — so come prepared. Bottom line: Gino’s isn’t just a pastry shop, it’s a Bronx institution. Worth the trip, worth the calories, and worth every bite.“

“7th Ave Diner is the perfect no frills neighborhood diner for when you just want a meal and do not want to overthink it.
The food is good, the service is quick, and the prices are reasonable. Nothing here is trying to reinvent the diner experience, and honestly, that is exactly why it works. You know what you are getting and you know you are going to leave satisfied.
This is the kind of place you can walk into without a plan, order whatever you are craving, and get exactly what you came for. No surprises, no unnecessary fuss, just a solid meal at a fair price.
Sometimes that is all you need. 🥞🙂“

“This is by far one of my favorite diners! The food is always fresh, delicious, and consistently excellent. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the staff. They’re incredibly friendly, hardworking, and pay attention to every detail. I order from them all the time, and I can honestly say my order has never been wrong, and they’ve never missed an item, dressing, or sauce. The fact that they’re open 24/7 is a huge plus, too. “I had a great experience at Dunkin’ Donuts! The service was quick and friendly, and my order was made exactly how I like it. The coffee was fresh, smooth, and perfectly balanced—not too strong, just right for an everyday pick-me-up. The donuts were soft, fresh, and full of flavor, especially the classic glazed.
I also love how convenient and affordable everything is, making it an easy go-to spot for busy mornings. The staff kept things moving efficiently while still being polite and welcoming. Overall, a reliable place for good coffee, tasty treats, and fast service. Definitely recommend! ☕🍩“

“Mochi Dolci is one of my favorite places in the UWS. It's a family-owned business that TRULY CARES about the people that walk in for food, drinks, and hanging out. I love many of their #mochidonuts - classics like black sesame and taro but I love their playful ones such as fruity pebbles. Other dishes are good to such as their pork belly bao, mango salad, and dumplings. Of course, their #milktea and #bobatea are delicious. I recently tried their matcha milk tea with strawberry popping boba. Their place is cozy and welcoming. They have a speakeasy too - I have not been, but they were kind to let me explore it (with their permission). I look forward to come back for drinks and food with friends! Easily 5 stars and ABOVE! 🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩🍩“
