“It’s very good and surprising cheap for being next to a large subway station.
Parking: Roosevelt Avenue is one of the most busy roads nearby. Jackson Heights is a very busy neighborhood. Good luck if you need to find parking.
Kid-friendliness: The place is kid friendly.
Wheelchair accessibility: The place is wheelchair accessible.“

“The people who work here are all so lovely, in addition to the incredible products they sell. These donuts are the best donuts I've ever had, and the fact that they are a nut free business.... Well, i can't want to come back to New York and have more!! The croissant donut was out of this world and the stuff of dreams, if you like donuts!! Thank you, Donut Pub, for another memorable visit!!“

“BEST DONUTS I HAVE EVER HAD! If you’re ever in NYC, make sure to try Kora’s donuts. These donuts are AMAZING! They are all infused with Filipino flavor and culture. I first heard about them on YouTube when a food channel featured them. These are rich and decadent donuts without being overwhelmingly sweet. They are custom made too and made fresh the day of pick up. Check them out!!“

“I go to New York City once year: My co-workers and I take a group of theater students, we see 8 broadways shows, I get a *carrot cake donut* at the Doughnut Plant in Grand Central Station, and I’m a happy girl for one more year. I always have a good experience! I get my favorite, and then something new. Everything I’ve ever tried there has been phenomenal. (This time is was a coffee cake doughnut - it was inspired! SO good!) If Doughnut Plant moved its location to the moon, I’d probably just start taking my theater students there instead, just so I could get my yearly taste test at Doughnut Plant.“

“What an absolute gem. Happened upon this shop while wandering the neighborhood and we were pleasantly surprised by how friendly and accommodating the staff were. Delicious donuts and, if you like espresso, their cappuccino is one of the best I’ve had in the city. Definitely try the apple crumb donut!“
“Had a great catering experience with Randy's last week. Christine, the catering coordinator, was amazing. She was courteous, professional, quick to respond, easy to work with and knowledgeable. She expertly helped direct us to the best type of order for the event we were hosting and on the day of the event, she and the staff were fantastic. The large order was ready right on time and the staff was extremely friendly. Highly recommend for large parties and catering events. Well priced and delicious doughnuts. Will definitely go back to Randy's!“

“Tried their cinnamon roll, muffin, and three doughnuts flavors. The cinnamon roll was one of my favorite I've ever had. Moist, good balance of flavor and the dough had a nice chewy texture. All the dought flavors were great, the top choice was the strawberry. The blueberry and lemon muffin was a bit too sweet for me and my husband liking, but still excellently baked and tasty. Some of the best doughnuts we've had in the city, never mind the fact that everything is vegan. Service was excellent, they were friendly, helpful, and quick. Definitely will be back for a sweet treat!“

“Really great assortment of vegan desserts as well as regular. I tried the vegan pain au chocolat, which was very good! Didn’t have a weird vegan butter texture, which is sometimes an issue with pastries. They also have a restroom in the back, which is a plus!“

“The donuts here are amazing!! My friend and I got a donut here after a jazz show at the Pocket. It's awesome that it's open later, we didn't expect to find something this good after 9pm. I heard that it can get busy during the day, when we went the line was very short.“

“My opinion is 9.1/10. Def lived up to hype. I had the yuzu, has a lemon flavor and I did enjoy it. If back in the area would try other flavors I heard the boba is what they are know for. “The moment I walked in the door I was greeted by a warm and kind barista named Alicia! She made me a Masala Chai that was delicious (and I am usually picky about my chais). The reason my visit was so special is because Alicia took the time to do what all great baristas do when time allows, which is know how to have a great conversation. I am thankful I spent my morning with a delicious chai, peanut butter & jelly doughnut and a great conversation. : )“

“Six stars if that were an option. I came for the croissants and left wondering why I hadn’t discovered this place sooner. The plain croissant is everything you hope for—beautifully flaky, deeply buttery, and so light that it practically shatters with every bite. It’s a masterclass in doing the classics perfectly.
The strawberry almond double-baked croissant somehow raises the bar even higher. Rich without being heavy, packed with flavor, and perfectly balanced between the sweetness of the strawberries and the nuttiness of the almond filling. Every bite feels indulgent without becoming overwhelming.
This is the kind of bakery that reminds you how extraordinary simple ingredients can be in the hands of people who truly know their craft. I’ll be coming back again and again.“

“If you’re ever in the Bronx and you don’t stop at Gino’s Pastry Shop, you’re missing out on a piece of real New York history. This Arthur Avenue staple has been serving up authentic Italian pastries for decades, and it’s exactly what you want from an old-school bakery — no frills, just flavor and tradition. The cannoli? Legendary. They fill them fresh to order, and the shells are crisp, flaky perfection with creamy ricotta that tastes like it was whipped up by someone’s Nonna in the back. The sfogliatelle and lobster tails are equally iconic — sweet, buttery, and loaded with filling. Don’t sleep on the rainbow cookies either — they’re dense, almondy, and always spot-on. The shop itself is cozy, with that classic Italian-American charm. Gino and the crew treat you like family, whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth. Prices are super fair for the quality, and it’s cash-only — so come prepared. Bottom line: Gino’s isn’t just a pastry shop, it’s a Bronx institution. Worth the trip, worth the calories, and worth every bite.“

“If you are looking for the perfect Brooklyn brunch, look no further. The food at 7th Ave Diner is consistently incredible, but what really makes this place special is the service—specifically Luisa. She is a absolute rockstar! She’s attentive, warm, and makes sure you’re taken care of from the moment you sit down.
The Highlights:
• The Omelet: Perfectly fluffy, generous with the fillings, and not greasy at all. It’s exactly what a diner omelet should be.
• Eggs Benedict: The poached eggs were spot on, and the hollandaise was rich and velvety.
• The Pancakes: Do not skip these. They are massive, airy and golden-brown crisp on the edges.
Between the delicious comfort food and Luisa’s amazing hospitality, this has easily become my go-to spot. I’ll be back every week.“

“I stayed at a hotel nearby and ended up having breakfast and dinner at this diner several times during my trip. The food is classic American diner style — tasty, comforting, and with very generous portions. The staff was always incredibly friendly and welcoming.
You can tell that a lot of locals come here, which always feels like a good sign. The place has that authentic old-school American diner atmosphere — it honestly feels like being in a movie. Very cozy, especially if you get a table by the window and just watch the neighborhood life go by.“
