“Absolutely 10/10 experience every time I go here. The staff is amazing and the food is out of this world. The best vegan calamari I've ever had BY FAR and the Chunk steak is prepared perfectly. I would 100% keep going back again and again“
“The food here is absolutely amazing! It is definitely the best pita bread I have ever had and the falafel is absolutely amazing as well. I highly recommend this place to everyoneVegetarian options: Plenty of falafel or vegetable options that are equally delicious! I imagine a lot of the food is vegan but I am not entirely sure.Dietary restrictions: The food is all kosher and I believe it is halal as wellParking: The location is on a street right off of Broadway so it's a busy area but the street it's on always seems to have parking.“
“Amazing, uncomplicated food that's tasty and really good value. The challah bread is particularly good, and I love the potato soup. It's also a very welcoming place to eat if you're on your own - just take a seat at the counter!“
“Embarking upon the gastronomic journey that is Barnea in the heart of Manhattan, one finds themselves in a culinary dreamscape, where each dish serves as a verse in an epicurean sonnet. This establishment isn't just a restaurant; it's a symphony of flavors conducted by the maestro chefs, with the bustling, yet impeccably orchestrated, service reminiscent of a New York minute—swift, efficient, and without a beat missed. Our odyssey commenced with a parade of appetizers that whispered tales of the sea, the earth, and the ethereal realms in between. The king salmon crudo, a dish that seemingly swam from the ocean depths directly to our plates, offered a refreshing prelude with its delicate texture and zesty accompaniments. The Barnea egg Benedict, a celestial reimagining of a brunch classic, was poached not just in water, but in a potion of culinary magic, making each bite a revelation. The polenta fries were like golden beams of sunshine on a plate—crispy on the outside, whisper-soft within, proving that even the humblest ingredients can be elevated to haute cuisine. Crispy dumplings, a playful nod to the global palate, danced with flavors that were at once familiar and novel. Patatas bravas, a dish steeped in tradition, were reborn here, fiery and bold. The beef carpaccio, a testament to the art of simplicity, melted away on the tongue, leaving behind a longing for just one more bite.As we ventured into the main course, the narrative deepened. The duck confit risotto was a masterful blend of textures and tastes, each grain of rice telling a story of craftsmanship and care. The glazed beef short ribs, tender to the point of poetry, were glazed in a sauce that could only be described as liquid gold. The rack of lamb, an ode to the pastoral, was a symphony of succulence and seasoning, while the tournedos, a ballet of beef at its most tender and flavorful, performed gracefully on the palate. The chef's special miso black cod, a dish of understated elegance, whispered secrets of the sea with every forkful.Ah, the grand finale of our gastronomic ballet at Barnea, where the curtain call was as sweet as the symphony preceding it. Dessert is, after all, the encore that every foodie soul yearns for, a final note that lingers long after the performance has ended. And what a standing ovation our choices garnered! The Key Lime Pie, not merely a dessert but a voyage, transported us to the sun-drenched groves of Florida with each bite. Its delicate balance of tart and sweet sang a duet with the buttery, crumbly crust, a harmony so divine that even the angels paused to listen. This was not just a pie; it was a slice of bliss, a creamy whisper of dreams made tangible.La Noisette, on the other hand, was a masterclass in the art of subtlety and sophistication. A ballet of hazelnuts, chocolate, and cream that pirouetted across the palate with grace and elegance. Each spoonful was a brushstroke of flavor, painting a portrait of indulgence that was as exquisite to the eye as it was to the taste. This dessert was a love letter to the senses, penned in the language of sweetness and texture. To dine at Barnea is to partake in a feast for the senses, a testament to the art of cooking, and a reminder of the joy that can be found in a meal not just eaten, but experienced. Would I do it all over again? In a New York heartbeat.“
“I was so tired so I grabbed the first thing I saw that looked familiar instead of reading the menu or checking out comments. It was beyond burger, which was delicious. After I ordered I saw crab cakes that looked yum, I wish I tried those too. They also had a bunch of desserts that looked good, but I can't eat that much at once. So if I'm ever back in New York I'm definitely coming there again. Service is really good, nice people working there, order ready fast! I definitely recommend this place.“
“We had the most amazing time at Cafe Premiata! The service is impeccable - such friendly and fun staff. Come here for any celebration, their dessert platters are gorgeous and delicious. We will definitely be coming back here. Thank you Cafe Premiata!“
“Great price and portion size. Very fast service; its like sit in fast food. Food is good. Definitely recommend the mixed veggie fried rice and soup dumplings. Also tried chicken corn soup which was also good. There was a bit of hiccup with one of our dishes because of the fast paced process but it was resolved after discussion. Would recommend and I would go back to try the dumplings and soup again.“
“We stumbled upon it by chance, wandering around the area and entered attracted by the menu. The place is special, the girls who serve the tables are really thoughtful and kind. Very good fries and also the salmon burger sandwich, good, plentiful and not overly seasoned like everything else in these parts.“
“This place is top quality and food is delicious. The ribeye was probably the best I've tried - extremely soft and very flavorful. The ambience is beautiful and fancy. Service was great and waiters were knowledgeable. Prices were high but overall had a great experience and would come back!“
“Relaxed environment but we sat in one of the left side booths and it’s really tight sitting there so I didn’t have the greatest dining experience but the food was very delicious so we finished it all VERY FAST and left. We had steak/lamb/chicken and all of these were cooked to perfection and every dish was delightfully presented ☺️“
“Upscale steakhouse in the heart of Flatbush. On a rather expensive side but you definitely get value for the price. From appetizers (pulled-beef tacos), through steaks (juicy cowboy steak), till desert (chocolate soufflé can’t leave any hope not to be eaten) — everything was just equally delicious.Highly recommended to impress — others and yourself.“
“Vegetarian options: They definitely had them!Kid-friendliness: We were able to bring my six week old niece. The restaurant was quiet and calm, the baby slept straight through our family’s meal and we didn’t feel weird about having the kid at all“
“Phenomenal vegan fare but its so much more than that.Vlad is an excellent host who really focuses on a fostering a real sense of community, encouraging evenings that focus on muscicians, writers, activists or just hanging out and having a good time!“
“The best place I’ve been! Absolutely best food ! The sandwiches are amazing, the bread is perfect (made here) everything is wonderful, warm and nice people, welcoming people!I wish there was more stars to give!!!מקום מספר אחת באמריקה ! ללא ספק !!“
“We live in nearby Dobbs Ferry, we have came by a few times for special occasions (birthdays, valentines, etc) and have not been disappointed. I wasn’t sure if Gluten Free, Non-Dairy and Kosher would taste different, for their cakes you hardly notice any difference than one that is not those things. It’s not an inexpensive place as evident by their locations but you get an excellent product from them which makes them worth going to.“
“Excellent upscale restaurant. Carefully curated ambiance, artfully intentional menu, quality service with tip already included in the food price so there is no request made for a tip.If you get a chance to chat with Mike himself, do so! He is lovely to speak with and can explain the menu items and ambiance better than anyone.“
“Everything was very good. Just one thing that bothered me a little bit, the little cup of ketchup that comes with the steak and fries wasn’t enough for the whole steak, I had to steal from someone else at the table. But I’m sure they would’ve given me more if I would’ve asked.“
“The mazza and more team especially in New Jersey are the nicest. They greet you with a smile and are very helpful. Although I am a long time customer it is the first time I am writing a review because this weekend for Father’s Day they made me the most beautiful dried meat platter. I was so impressed with the quality and the service that I simply had to share my gratitude.“
“Got a pastrami and a corned beef sandwich. Wow. Very tender and very flavorful. The mustard was also delicious. Will absolutely be coming back for more. Absolute must try if you like Jewish deli sandwiches. The family that runs this place is also very nice.“
“Real italian restaurant. The best kosher pizza in nyc. Small place so if you plan to go, you should reserve a table first.Don’t go after 9pm or your dish will be sloppyVegetarian options: Everything is made with cream/milkParking: You can find a spot in the street easily“
“5 Star Service - an absolute understatement!Mocha Burger LUX in Midtown had us for supper on a lazy Sunday evening. I was shocked to see very few dining options open in the area at 7PM on a Sunday evening - to our great surprise, we stumbled upon Mocha Burger LUX - Time Square Midtown. The whole group was downright impressed with the food, the service, and the whole vibe.We were impressed with the extensive cocktail and wine selection. The cocktails were on point, and I have to give a shoutout to Captain Austin and Bartender Michael for mixin' it right. The place had this lively vibe, all upscale, and they were playing a mix of Israeli pop tunes. (This is also the spot to celebrate your special day - the staff will go above and beyond to make you feel celebrated). We kicked off supper with amazing apps: Guacamole, Caesar Salad, Shishito Peppers, Pulled Beef Tacos, and Beef Satay. Every single bite was like a flavor explosion in your mouth. Then we got into a tasty grilled Bronzino and Greek chicken skewers. Fish was as fresh, chicken was juicy, and the veggies were spot on.Of course dessert as well! We enjoyed a variety of rotating sorbet flavors, a flourless chocolate molten cake, and an apple crumble. The sorbet flavors were passionfruit, mango, and PISTACHIO! Holy creamy and flavorful! Cake and crumble? Well, they were downright delightful.Dinner was a solid win! I can't sing the praises of this place enough. Very impressive selection of Kosher cuisine that left us very satisfied at conclusion of the meal. Did not feel as if I overate or uncomfortable after a large meal!Dietary restrictions: Entirely Kosher menu!“
“Table 40 exceeded my expectations for our Hanukkah party! The food was not only impeccably presented but also a delightful culinary experience. Each dish showcased a perfect blend of flavors, catering to diverse palates. The attention to detail and freshness of ingredients stood out, leaving a lasting impression on our guests. Table 40's catering service is an absolute gem, making our celebration truly memorable.“

“Had dinner at Rothschild TLV this evening and it was incredible. Tal, the owner/chef/amazing person, greeted us as we walked in. Dalmina took over taking care of our table and was beyond incredible. She even catered to our almost two year old son, which was really over the top. The food was breathtaking both by presentation and taste. This is by far the most beautiful and elegant restaurant in Manhattan, let alone the five boroughs. Highly recommend this restaurant to one and all!“
“Beautiful restaurant with the perfect ambiance, helpful waiters and staff, and most of food great variety of choices and the food is truly amazing! An epic experience indeed!Kid-friendliness: My friend brought her tot, and the kids food choices were perfect“

“I ordered food for an event at my house for 50 people. I was helped by Roman and he was a pleasure to work with. He gave me suggestions on what to choose and how much I would need. We went with hot pass around appetizers, wrap/sandwich platters, salads, fruit and cookies. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious!! I will definitely be ordering again!“
“I've lived in NYC for over ten years and this is the best tasting pizza I've found so far. The pizza man there, Ciro makes delicious pizza every time, and, speaking from personal experience, he makes it the way it should be made. Handsome guy too. I recommend you go visit.“
“We checked out Noi Due Gelato - was worth every penny, every calorie, every gram of fat! The staff were so attentive and charming, and we got to taste test some of the flavors we weren't sure about committing to. I would recommend and even tell dieters "YOLO!" A terrific occasional treat to splurge on!“
“Had the falafel platter. Comes with hummus, and mix of salads. Fluffy pita. Everything is delicious!! And the owners make you feel at home. Best in NYC! ? Previously had Hummus plate with falafel- so good!! Great pitas and the salads are authentic and delicious. And- the Kunafeh was AMAZING!!! Will be back! ??“
“Amazing amazing place!!! Just made a bar mitzvah for my son there. The owner is very nice and answers all questions immediately. The food is top notch and the place is beautiful!!! I would give it 10 stars if I could! Highly recommend this restaurant for any event!!“
“Coming to orchidea is a treat. The staff is gracious and friendly and attentive. The food is beautifully presented and consistently delicious. I have been to other places but always return to orchidea. They can't be beat in service, food, and atmosphere.“
“This food it so good! I was trying them out for the first time so wanted to sample a few things.1. King Oyster Mushrooms - very yummy with a mango sauce. Lightly batter and chewy.2. Pumpkin Soup - so nourishing on a cold night.3. Sweet and Sour - This dish was lovely. I miss my fave that I have been eating since I was little - Sweet and Sour Chicken, so this was a great vegan substitute. Only bad thing is not enough rice is sent with the main dishes! I have never in my entire 50+ year life, had a tiny rice box, like this, from a Chinese restaurant. You will need to order extra rice. I only took one star because of having to cook more rice.4. Cold Green Tea Sesame Noodles - These were incredible and my favorite thing I ordered. Very light and tasty.Vegetarian options: All of the food is vegan and delicious.“
“I have been a customer of kosher hut of Brooklyn since i have been a little kid it opened in 1983 and I was born in 1983 so of course I love this pizza shop Jack is the nicest person and he makes the best pizza and calzones and of course falafel and more they even have ice cream slush and rides for the kids I highly recommend trying this iconic kosher establishment“
“Appreciated the calmness of the location. The freshness of the food and the simplicity of ordering without blaring music while dining. It got busy starting at noon. So get there at 11am to avoid crowds and noise. Really liked the masala dosa. Flavors were light and tasty.Vegetarian options: All sorts of Indian food from subcontinentDietary restrictions: Accommodating vegan and vegetarian. No meat served.Kid-friendliness: A young man with a disability and his you her brother were here. I loved the idea that they too could participate in a family meal without prejudice and judgment. Made my heart happy. Also a dog with his elderly owner. Another show of acceptance and do no harm attitude.“
“Great restaurant, the food is amazing, the staff are both helpful and very nice. One of the few restaurants, I feel comfortable eating at as a celiac with a High sensitivity to gluten. I have never had cross contamination issues Here, and their fryers are fully gluten-free.I highly recommend this restaurant to people on gluten-free or vegan diets, or if you want really good foodDietary restrictions: Kosher, gluten-free, and vegan“
“One of my favorite unknown spots in the city. It’s a vegan, kosher restaurant with a homey ambiance. Spacious restaurant. They have live jazz on Saturday evenings and sometimes on the weekends during brunch. The brunch menu is great! Would recommend if you’re looking for something cozy and healthy.“

“I couldn't recommend this place more highly. Chef Itai is incredibly gifted and so welcoming. His dishes are absolutely delicious, so creative and such an inspiration to experience. The meals are designed with so much thought and sophisticated detail. I loved the shawarma bao buns, lamb cigars and the steak. The desserts (lava cake, churros, tiramisu, crumb cake, soufflé and ice cream) were to die for! I can't wait to go back - this is such a special place!“
“This was one of the most delicious experiences I’ve had. I’m vegetarian and the appetizers were flavorful, and each unique in taste. The main dish I had (cauliflower shawarma on frena bread) was also flavorful and filling. Ah, and the hummus was unbelievable. The young lady that served us was super hospitable and knowledgeable about the dishes, and recommended some great options. Can’t wait to go back there again.“
“A MUST to visit in NY! ?We had to wait in line for a little while but it went pretty quickly. When you enter they give you a ticket with which you stand in another line to be served by the guys at the bar who will prepare your food. The portions are large; We shared a pastrami sandwich and it was enough, they also served it with pickles. The meat was delicious and soft!! It was one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten! ❤️ I would come back too much!!“
“delicious food. really really yum. everything came quickly too. almost 5 stars other then the chinese elevator music. i’d rather eat glass than hear that. other than that place was top :) make a rezo. can’t just pop in…Be ready to spend. not joseph’s burger…“
“The warm embrace of the owner of this charming cafe reminded me of the very best of the Israeli family feeling of decades ago. It was like walking into a time machine of feelings and tastes, while at the same time experiencing the depth of flavors developed over the past few decades. Everything was better than the memories and I walked out feeling nourished nutrionally, culturally, and more importantly by a sense of connection to our great Jewish family.“
“Great Laffa, feels like israel, with the salads and fries.I’m vegan, but the Shawarma and the breaded chicken (schnitzel) looks amazing!Give it a try, try all the salads!Vegetarian options: I eat laffa or pita with hummus, salads, and fries. And fries on the side comes with almost every dish, when you dine in.Dietary restrictions: With so many options and veggies, you’ll surly find something for everyone and anyone.“
“We like a lot going out. Yesterday we visited this excellent restaurant which friends recommended to us. We had a delightful time there with fine cooking and a well-trained team and a professional chief cook. We put this fine restaurant in our phone list and we shall surely return very soon. We highly recommend.“
“I think this restaurant is a true gem in New York City. I went with some friends from Who are Kosher. I personally do not keep kosher and always assume that I will not enjoy a kosher restaurant as much. This restaurant went above and beyond my expectations, food, atmosphere and service. Food was amazing and as good as any highly rated, unkosher restaurant out there.I would definitely come back again whether or not I was with a group that needed to eat kosher. I have already recommended it to other orthodox friends and familily members.Parking: I was able to park on the street right nearby for free. Doesn’t mean everyone will be able to do that but there is a good chance.“
“My inaugural visit to The Canteen in Brooklyn was nothing short of a culinary revelation. Established in 2015, this kosher fast-food gem has undoubtedly set the standard for a new era of high-quality and delectable kosher delights in NYC.From the moment I stepped into The Canteen, the lively atmosphere and enticing aromas hinted at the gastronomic journey awaiting me. The restaurant's commitment to providing high-quality kosher fast food was evident from the diverse menu, boasting a tantalizing array of options that went beyond the typical fast-food fare. The standout dish that stole the show was the country-fried schnitzel. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with flavor, it was a true testament to The Canteen's dedication to elevating traditional favorites. Each bite was a harmonious dance of textures and tastes, showcasing the culinary prowess behind this Brooklyn establishment. The pulled-beef brisket and burgers were equally impressive, offering a savory symphony of seasoned meat and carefully selected toppings. The meticulous attention to detail in crafting each dish was apparent, as every component contributed to the overall deliciousness.A particular highlight that cannot be overlooked was the nationally renowned soft beef jerky. The Canteen has perfected the art of creating tender, flavorful jerky that sets a new standard for this classic snack. It's a must-try for any beef jerky enthusiast or someone looking to experience this culinary marvel for the first time. The Canteen succeeds not only in delivering exceptional flavors but also in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff exuded friendliness and efficiency, ensuring that my first visit was a memorable and enjoyable experience. The dedication to customer satisfaction was evident, making it clear why The Canteen has become a cornerstone of kosher fast food in NYC.“
“Thrilling time at the UES spot on 65th and LEX! The culinary delights and top-notch service were nothing short of spectacular. Huge props to Jhon and Paul for their extraordinary efforts in elevating my dining adventure to new heights. The toro crispy rice stole the show, and I'm already counting down the days until my next visit!“
“Came here with my family for lunch. We loved it! Charming and relaxing atmosphere, kind and efficient service, and most importantly: the food was so delicious and reasonable. We especially loved the samsa, achik-chuk, and lagman. 5 stars, no notes.“
