“Staff is nice and accommodating. The beauty (and curse) of hot pot is that it's kind of up to you how good the meal is.

My advice? 1) Go heavier than you'd think with seasonings and 2) Add vegetables first (it adds flavor to the broth--and, more importantly, they take longer to cook). The meat takes practically no time to cook, but you also don't have to be in a hurry to eat it.

“This is my favorite Boriqua restaurant in Orange County. When I moved here, I was looking for good authentic Spanish food, and I couldn't find one. But a young girl took me here and I was like ohhh my goodness. I have been going ever since. Now, if I go anywhere to get my food, it is because they are closed. Pelligrinos is our favorite pizza spot so I called them. It was 5:30PM on a Friday night and I asked if they could accommodate our party of nine at 7:00. They were happy to prepare a table for us! I was shocked. They brought us the most incredible plate antipasto and placed it in front of our daughter and said happy birthday! “We found this brewery on our trip home off of Route 17. It is such a great Brewery! The place is very cool! It has a ton of indoor seating, a large outdoor beer garden, and a game room! Looking up food delivery in that area and found Taco Factory...ordered street tacos and they were as good as I've ever had...delivered to me hot, fresh and awsome...the owner took my order and delivered to me. Brother Bruno’s in Middletown surprised me. I tried their chicken cutlet with mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, American cheese, and a drizzle of oil and vinegar—absolutely amazing. Easily the best cutlet I’ve had so far, scoring a solid 8.9/10. The size was great and the blend of all the flavor were perfect.

The cold cut was excellent, but the pizza, while flavorful, wasn’t the best in Middletown as they promised nonetheless—thin, tasty and appealing . Fries were good too, just needed a touch more salt. A strong contender, but the hunt continues!“

“I use to go twice a year to Kartrite Water Park but halal food was always a problem. Last week I went to this place and bought Gyro with rice, Chicken Biryani, Chicken wings, Burgers, CHANAY (cooked Peas in gravy) etc. I must say amazing food. It’s a jewel sitting in Catskills area. The food was freshly made and good for my kids as I always make sure that my kids eat fresh cooked meal whenever we eat from outside. The Gyro chicken was amazing and so was the white sauce. I ate Chicken Biryani too and it was one of the delicious Biryani I have ever came across. Also, the wings were small and not frozen. I loved them as they have no frozen meat smell. The owner is amazing and provides a good customer service. This place should be a must go place if you are looking for halal food .“

“we were on our honeymoon with my wife and some relatives took us to this place to try the typical Neapolitan pizza and other local specialties..
Having also been in the restaurant business and a pizza chef for many years, I can say that it is not easy to find a pizzeria in America and above all such good pizza, truly heartfelt congratulations..
The staff is very kind and friendly, it feels like family.

“Have ordered to go several times, always trying something different. The sushi is pretty good, fresh tasting, although they skimp on the rice a bit. Not too happy with their hibachi. Ordered the lobster and filet mignon hibachi for a special treat. Asked for the filet to be prepared rare. It wasn't rare, and it either wasn't filet mignon at all, or a super cheap cut, or just badly prepared. It was tough, chewy, and well done. And the lobster was cheap rock lobster. While I would get the sushi again, I'm going to stay away from the hibachi.“

“One week ago I called the Colonial Diner when the caterer for our daughter’s after wedding brunch cancelled 10 days before the wedding weekend. I told them what my crisis was and these complete strangers sprang into action and promised to take care of us. This morning they delivered delicious food and sooo much of it. All of our 120 brunch guests raved about all of the food and especially the French toast and sausage (many said the sausage was the best they ever had). “It was just ok. No wait, so we were seated right away and promptly had our drink order taken. The food came pretty quickly, but it was just kind of blah. Not bad, but nothing special. A person at a table near us kept vaping, so the headache I got from that didn’t help. We got hibachi, not at a hibachi table. I have had much better elsewhere. Their shrimp tempura appetizer was delicious, though it wasn’t tempura, it was panko. So heads up if you have your heart set on tempura 😉 The portions were ok - we weren’t stuffed when done, but not hungry either.“
