“Wow. for a dunkin inside of a gas station i’ve never been more pleased with an experience. first of all, we came in 10 minutes before closing, so an angelic young employee gave us our much needed iced coffees free of charge! (don’t worry, we tipped the amount of the cost). not one coffee in my life has ever made me happier. on a six hour long car ride from vermont to nyc, this coffee came right in time. and with a great interaction with an employee, i felt like for a moment, everything was right in the world. Thank you dunkin.”

“Most everything was amazing and delicious..The caviar frites, unfortunately, were so oversalted, they were inedible..(.I say that as someone who always asks for salt at places that don't have it on the tables) The cocktails were wonderful, as were the rabbit and schnitzel, ( what kind of witchcraft is that gf breading!?wonderfully crisp)oysters fresh. Service was ok, but I think the servers should dress more professionally..nothing crazy, maybe white shirt, black pants, long hair tied back. Will return. Food was that good.oh..next time we will look at bill more closely..ostensibly tip is included..A friend in the industry said it was illegal..server mustve been happy to get 40%...”

“My best friend, her daughter and I stopped here for a late-ish breakfast today on our way back to Putnam County this morning. We had never been before and this came up while searching for a breakfast spot. Jeanie Bean's certainly lived up to the charming name! Sweet place, really nice, helpful staff. Our order was pancakes, chicken tenders (no, actually cutlets!!) with really great well done fries, and a BLTurkey which I requested on rye. I didn't ask but I am pretty sure that Rye was homemade. Very fresh and thick cut. Many other homemade baked goods blessed the counter, which we sadly didn't try. The teenager drank a monster energy drink while us adults split a can of Arizona iced tea. There is a little set up to help yourselves to silverware/napkins, salt/pep, sauces/ketchup and there are a couple beverage coolers with several options. There is a little coffee bar area and although I didn't get a good look I'm sure there was the option for hot tea as well. I am not quite sure where the int'l inspo comes from (perhaps the family has a British background?) but there are some interesting English teas/treats in the little gift shop area near the front half of the store. Seemed like there were some handmade things, and many cute gifts. The teen and I played a couple rounds on the little wooden tic tac toe game that was on the table. The food was great, atmosphere was fun and friendly. You order up front, grab your table and they call your name and bring out your order. 10/10 would recommend if you happen to be up in the Country! Oh, p.s. there is also an English inspired phone box outside labeled the BOOK BOX full of books to grab / exchange!”

It won’t put me off coming here again but it’s nice to go out and not be surrounded by families with kids. I understand families are allowed to go out to breweries etc . “As a REAL New York City native (unlike 99% of the reviewers), I can tell you hat Broadway is more like an old school NYC slice shop than you would think. From the flavor to the quality to the service...do they make mistakes? Sure. Everyone does. Is their pizza great? Yes it is. So are their dishes. Until recently I had only been a weekender for 40 years. I've been eating here since they opened. It has always been consistent and delicious! The staff are super friendly as are the owners who work on-site every day. The inside is sparse, and no, I don't care what newspaper is on the table (NY Post) or what's on the TV (usually a show like NCIS or Smallville). You don't come here for the media...YOU COME FOR THE FOOD!!!”
