“Baked clams were so fresh and fulfilling. They have a full clam in each half shell for starters but the stuffing and sauce was so original and flavorful I can't wait to get another batch. The chicken Francese dinner was a beautiful thing as well. I highly suggest Sal Anthony's if you are looking for some authentic Italian/Sicilian food. Fresh bread and wonderful fresh salad with the works as well and a nice balsamic. Pricing was fair as well. I could go on but I'll let you decide. Get in there you won't regret it.“

“After having a falling out with our original catering company just weeks before our wedding, finding La Cucina Paisanos was truly a blessing in disguise. From the very first moment we walked into the restaurant to see if they might be an option for our wedding, we were warmly greeted by Nick, the owner, and immediately felt at ease. Nick took the time to walk us through the entire catering process and even allowed us to sample several menu items since we hadn’t yet had the chance to try the food. “We often stop in for delicious Italian food, a pizza lunch and/or dinner. For my mother in laws 100th we decided to cater dinner at home. Most who know us know how we love to cook, and eat, but it sure was terrific to spend time together, relax & enjoy, with limited clean up.
Food was delicious. Eggplant parm, Penne a la vodka, Chicken Marsala, yummy garlic knots, pasta with escarole & beans, fabulous!
When they found out we were celebrating mom's 100th they sent best wishes and complimentary cookies to have with our espresso & desserts.
Food delivered was warm and fresh. On time. Driver helped us set up.

“I came in there over the summer with my wife and my grandson, Gerald. We were greeted by a young lady by the name of Brooke. Let me tell ya, she was a wonderful waitress to mi familia y yo! She brightened up out dinner experience and made the whole restaurant glow with positivity. I have never experienced such amazing service in my 73 years of life. “We love their vodka margarita pizza (if you haven’t it’s a must have). So we decided to have them cater our daughter’s birthday dinner. “I have been loving Colosseo pizza since jr High school. Thats over 40 plus years and somehow they have not drop a notch in greatness. In todays time, there are so many critics of pizza being so widely loved, but these guys are a Long Island staple.

Inside, its very clean and moves quick in all respects be take-out, by the slice or sit down in their back dining room. Nothing super fancy but your coming for their great pizza!“

“We have been going to Via Pizza for years (like, more than 20!). It is a small family owned place and always produces delicious NY style (real deal!) pizza and other Italian dishes. We have never had a bad meal here and they are pleasant and helpful always. Highly recommend!!“

“The owners are great. Very pleasant to deal with. I've been going there since they bought it about 22 yrs ago. Their dinners are very good, you can't go wrong with the penne ala vodka and a side of sausage. Love the antipasti, garlic knots are to die for. The neopolitan and Sicilian pies are great. Love the sauce they make for the dinners and pies. The only complaint I have is that they go light on the pizza toppings. I'd like to see more sausage, pepperoni, etc on the pies, not a few slices sprinkled about. Now I'm thinking about pizza. Maybe tonight.“

“Pizza here is really good have ordered it multiple times for gatherings and it’s delicious. The Philly cheese pie is one of my favorites as well as the meat lovers. The place is halal and it’s owned by a Pakistani family. This place never disappoints and it saves us a trip to go to Nassau. Overall this place is an easy 10/10“

I stop by for lunch occasionally and I’m glad to see they’re adding more vegan items to the food bar like quinoa salads, Gardein chimichurri meatballs, salads, mushroom/barley soup, tofu dishes with an Asian flare etc The pizza station has 4 vegan options-Cheese (Daiya), Salad pizza (arugula, roasted peppers, onions and vinaigrette), Roasted Eggplant with pepperoncini pizza and broccoli pizza. You can also have a TTLA sandwich freshly made at the sandwich station.“
