However yesterday was the first time, we utilized (or attended) an event in their private room upstairs and I cannot say enough good things about it. We celebrated my 70th birthday and everything was perfect. The food was delicious (served family style and there was plenty of it!), the food and bar service was great, the room itself was perfect (a very nice room with lots of space for the kids to run around) and Melanie was so easy to work with! I highly recommend Our Place for lunch, dinner and in particular, for your private event!“

I recently moved from New York City to Valley Cottage in Rockland County and have been searching for a real NYC-style pizza place. After trying a few spots nearby, I finally found Village Pizza in Nyack — and it’s exactly what I was hoping for!

Tony is super friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The service is quick, the staff is great, and the pizza is absolutely delicious — thin crust, perfectly cooked, and tastes just like classic New York City pizza. They even have an extra-large 18-inch pie, which is a huge plus.

They also offer delivery, which is super convenient. If you’re craving genuine NYC-style pizza in Rockland County, Village Pizza is the real deal! 🍕“

“Just left a crazy Thursday night at IL Forno. What a fun and enjoyable evening we had. We walked in with no reservations and the manager snuck us right in and we even got to the listen to an amazing singer. We have been here a few times, this was by far the most fun we had. Everyone was laughing. The staff which seems to be plenty was having a good time. The manager and Owners kept walking around and making sure all was good and everyone was happy. “i drove here all the way from danbury, ct & let me tell you.. this place did NOT disappoint! hands down the best tacos & quesadilla i’ve ever had in my life. the crunch of the warm shell mixed with the ground beef and cheese was 🔥. the chicken in the quesadilla was shredded and amazing. my friend had the steak tacos, and i’m not a big fan of steak in general but i tried some of hers - it literally melted in my mouth. if i was going to eat steak it would be here. literally everything was cooked to perfection. the drinks being absolutely on point was just a bonus. please open a location close to danbury so you can take all my money😅. “I came here on the hunt for something different for breakfast and stumbled across this spot after seeing a video about their BBQ breakfast options. Glad I did!

The vibe inside is cool and relaxed with a bit of charm. It’s not a big space but there is some seating. Service was solid, the staff was friendly, patient, and gave me great recommendations for a first timer.

I went with two picks:
• Brisket Egg & Cheese — house smoked brisket, scrambled eggs, American cheese on Texas toast. Super buttery and cheesy. My only critique is the brisket was sliced a little too thin, which made it tougher to bite through in a sandwich.
• Breakfast Burrito — house smoked pulled pork, scrambled eggs, American cheese, pico de gallo wrapped in a tortilla. This one was the winner for me. Smoky, spicy, and loaded with flavor.

Parking is the biggest challenge. It’s on a tight, busy street with not much available nearby.

Overall though, the food was delicious and definitely worth the trip. I’ll be back to try the Bacon Egg & Cheese with house smoked crispy bacon chicharron and their crispy tots.“

“Delicious Margarita pizza! All ingredients are fresh. We use to drive over the bridge to Cassis’s in Orangburg, NY for pizza, but no more. We met the owner yesterday and he really takes pride in his business. Venice Pizza is now our go to place when we want delicious pies.“
