New American Restaurants near Monroe, NY

“Love this farm! The restaurant on site is amazing. The food is farm to table so the menu changes seasonally and always tastes fresh. We would normally go for brunch (their bacon is mouth watering,) but we recently went for dinner, finally, and it is even better than their brunch. We had the octopus starter and it was perfectly cooked. They also have brick oven pizza which is a hit with us locals for a quick takeout dinner. The restaurant is on the smaller side so I would recommend making a reservation in advance, but the staff is warm and welcoming and it's a place we will continue to frequent for years. Cannot recommend it enough.“

“The food is authentic and full of flavor! Service is a lil slow but I’m sure it’s cuz everything is made fresh! The empanadas are so good, Topped with slaw, avocado, and cheese. We ordered the churrasco steak and asked for it medium, and it was well done:(The rice and beans was so good, served with avocado and a really good pepper, cilantro and onion salad...The typico breakfast was good.. not exactly what was pictured.. lol.. but actually I preferred the red beans instead of the black beans.. the pupusa was yummy. The eggs were fried to perfection, also came with chorizo and tortillas..“

“Surf and Turf is egg over bits of steak and shrimp over a bowl of spicy rice…very good if you like spice. Brussel sprouts are outstanding. The jerk chicken is served with a bowl of spicy rice. A coconut mojito is excellent with lots of fresh mint mixed in. Service is very good in this small venue. No doubt they will grow in size, hopefully the menu will grow as well.Parking: The restaurant is located on a corner lot plaza.“

“First time after many years in the area - due to their strict reservation policy. We generally eat out frequently and like to just show up without reservations. The food was very good but the menu was limited and they didn’t have a few items. Staff were good. The exhaust system needs to be updated, as there was a slight cloud of smoke throughout the restaurant. Otherwise, we’ll return when their outdoor section opens. ??“

“We had the Best Burger tonight at Christophers's!! If you are craving a REALLY Good Burger I'd choose this place for sure and let's not forget the Fantastic fries!! We've been going there since it first opened and it never disappoints!! Great, Friendly staff too!“

“Best breakfast in Orange County hands down. Pancakes and breakfast sandwiches are out of this world. Lunch is amazing too! Always a variety of snacks and drinks. Service is speedy, and always served with a smile! Family owned GWL must-have. Cash only and not much seating, unless outdoor (warmer weather) but you can always call in!“

“Whether Casual or Formal, the atmosphere and the attention paid by the servers is exceptional. Takes me back to a time when attention was paid to ingredients and service. The food was at a very high level and everything to go along with the meal was flawless. I can't find anything negative to say about the experience or the food. I will be returning often.“

“Many many years ago I grew up in Goshen, NY. This was the Steak & Brew in 1975. Now all these years later, I'm back in Goshen going to my old stomping grounds. How could you not stop in to Delancey Street. The Historical Hamiltonian Racetrack track, oldest in America! The amazing Trotters Museum such a tribute so many beautiful horses trainers, what history. Playing the piano & singing with all our friends from Goshen High School, 1975, 1976. The memories that were made at Delancey's before it WAS are still there...Were going home for a reunion this summer to be grateful and enjoy the place where we grew up, it was a blessing to have this as our hometown and a place that still here with us today with such great food, great fun, right on the track! Delancey Restaurant, WE LOVE U? Come home to Goshen or visit for the first time but make sure you stop in Delancey HAVE A DRINK, ENJOY A BEAUTIFUL MEAL, OR THEIR AWARD-WINNING WING'S. “I saw this place often as my bus passed it on its route. I thought it was just a catering spot... 'til I saw the "open" sign on. I am happy I saw the "sign" because I knew I could order a small meal. We had the Honey Bourbon BBQ Ribs, Garlic Parmesan Wings, Honey Fried Brussel Sprouts, Honey Butter Cornbread, Macaroni & Cheese, Brisket, BBQ Seasoned Fries and the Apple Cole Slaw.... Baaaaaby!Everything was delicious...the ribs were of great size and cooked to perfection and the sauce delectable. The chicken wings were seasoned just right and they had real parmesan flakes of cheese not that shredded kind. The Brussel Sprouts had a little char to them and the combination of Honey and Parmesan Cheese was something I never had before but will definitely be something I'll have again. The Mac & Cheese had a different flare that I surely tasted can't quite put my finger on the flavor of seasonings but I enjoyed it. Danielle was so pleasant and upbeat as well as her assistant/best friend and they made us feel comfortable. My 13 year old daughter who is a finicky eater was happy with her Brisket over Mac & Cheese and side of Seasoned Fries and the portion was of an amount that when she tells me she's hungry I can say you have leftovers. The icing on the cake was the Honey Buttered Cornbread what is there not to like about Honey, Butter & Cornbread all in one. The apple Cole Slaw was an acquired taste I wasn't expecting. It was more like a salad that did not need any salad dressing. It was different and I like different. All in all this place is a hidden gem in plain sight. If you are ever thinking about getting some BBQ give this place a try, I promise you, you won't be disappointed. I'm definitely going back there are a few more things I'd like to try. “Dinned here with parents while visiting the area. Easy, free street Parking right outside. We were seated at the window. Staff was friendly and helpful. Started with the seasonal Pumpkin martini cocktail, which was DELICIOUS! Might be better to order after meal unless you like to eat desserts first. Then ordered the rib eye, which was good. The hamburger was on the dry side. The cobb salad was a good size and prepared well. But the winner was the super yummy pumpkin cheesecake!“

“I’ve been going here since highschool and I’m out of college now. Food, smoothies, and juices are always consistent. My favorite is the strawberry sunrise smoothie and the detox beet juice, I get this with a chicken Caesar wrap. Healthiest options in Goshen especially for those with diabetes (for my parents.)However I think they should upload their smoothie and juice menu to their website for those who aren’t familiar with the menu. :) other than that I have no complaints“

“Good spot with amazing food. Try the Penne with Vodka, Pork Chops, Kids food, Salmon & Fish . Scenery is breathtaking, lake is so relaxing. Service was good, friendly, more less fast. Even it was Winter Time it was worthwhile, can't wait for summer to go again.“
