I have grown up on their delicious stuff since I am a child. With their goods from their Brooklyn locations.
My most favorite baked goods from them are; their 'kukush cake. It was once the best out of the best.(they changed the recipe about a year ago for something not as good at all). The rugalech are delicious. But the highlight is their definitely their dairy line of cheese cakes, danishes and miniatures. How about trying the Napoleon cake can't even describe how good it is. You'll have to taste them yourself to understand what I mean...“

“Kosher (meat). I highly recommend the chicken cutlets or sesame chicken. I can say the kugel is the best non-home-made I have found. Prices fall into the category of not cheap, but not too expensive, for $6 you can get a filling lunch. If you live in Monsey and are willing to pay you can also get it delivered - so good value for those good alternative for those you you unable to get down there. No religious/cultural exclusion, so if you are a non-Jew who wants to try Kosher food, this is a decent place.“

They provided the desserts for multiple different events (retirement party, bachelorette party, bridal shower) and knocked it out of the park each time. The attention to detail and their ability to bring my vision to life is out of this world!!! And even more importantly, everything they make is delicious!!! Often times the beautiful desserts you see on instagram don’t actually TASTE good; but at Wish Upon A Pastry you get the full package. The cookies literally melt in your mouth. “In 2024, the Monsey area is filled with catering establishments, take-out store, and bakeries, and yet Glaubers, which has been here forever, is still the best. They have catered kiddushin and a wedding for us and we were always greatly satisfied. When you go to the store you will find fresh and delicious food, and the people serving you are even more delicious! If you haven't been to Glaubers yet, go tomorrow.“

“Such helpful and wonderful staff . Picked up a valentines cookie cake for my daughter’s class and they decorated it wonderfully. I was given a free sample of the caramel crumb cookie and it was divine. Did I mention they were super friendly and kind ???? 100/10

They have many treats and I saw some gorgeously decorated chocolate strawberries and I thought the price was amazing for the presentation. I think a dozen strawberries were $36 which is a bargain compared to other places who make subpar looking strawberries . I would have loved to receive them as a gift myself !

“This place is just amazing! There were 5 of us and we all ordered something different. Everything we got was delicious- we all tried each other's dishes. There's a little bit of everything to satisfy even the pickiest eater. I would just drive her (over a 2 hour drive for me) just to come eat here. I need this place closer to home, lol.“

“I have been going to the official cake lady now for 10-11 years and about 3-4 times in a year. Kim never ever disappoints. She makes our vision come to life. The cake is so good we drive over an hour to pick it. Kim is always professional and listens to every detail needed for the cake.

“Hmmm I'm not sure about the hype on this place. The service is slow (maybe to create a line outside?) and everything was pretty expensive. I got a few donuts and a baguette and it was good but not really anything amazing. Not sure if I would wait in line again for this place when there are so many bakeries in the area.“

“Beautiful modern store with gorgeous interior and wonderful floor tiles. They had all popular PB bakery items on display. Lots of sitting area, all clean and well maintained.

We went to get a cake. It was evening hours, so a lot of the popular ones were sold out, still we had 5-6 kinds to pick from. Cake was packed precisely in the box, got knife and candles with it. Staff were very friendly and got our order ready super fast.

The mini strawberry soft cream cake was pure quality. Fluffy soft cake with delicious cream all around it topped with glazed strawberry.

“I just went to The Great American Cookie at the Palisades Mall and boy was I surprised by my visit. First off, the place was immaculate and even though they were busy, was greeted at immediately by all 4 of the workers (their names were Stephanie, Valerie, Marlene and Jamie). Two of the workers were on their way out and they still took the time to greet and talk to me. I ordered 4 cookies and they offered me a great deal-if I purchased one more they would give me a 6th free! The cookies were fresh, warm and unbelievably delicious. I think these were the best cookies I’ve ever had (especially the Chocolate chip and Lemon ones). They even asked me for my phone number and told me about a great rewards program they have after spending a certain amount. They were so friendly-I’m not used to this type of service from anywhere these days. Go to Great American Cookie next time you are at the Palisades Mall-it’s located on the third floor - just outside Macy’s. You will not be disappointed! Mmmmmmm!!“
