“The food is pretty good. A couple weeks ago I had gotten beef soup at the end of the day. There was little to no beef in it, I called and spoke to Miguel who apologized and offered to prepare another soup on the house the next time I came in. That's great service, and they will have repeat business from me because of it!“

“Went here for a Bacon Egg and Cheese. After tax with card it was $6 which was disappointing especially considering the lack of egg bacon and cheese compared to bread. The order came out fast and the guy who helped me was nice. It was a good sandwich but there are plenty of other places charging the same price or less for a much fuller sandwich that tastes just as good. I get the economy is bad but I’d rather the base sandwich be another ridiculous dollar more for a reasonable amount of fillings.“

“My new go-to! Incredibly friendly staff and always willing to go the extra to make you something that may not be on the menu . They have a variety of hot foods and a great breakfast sandwich! So grab your breakfast and your lunch before you head to the train! (Tip- they offer for a free soda with the lunch special). They have everything that I need when I’m not in the mood to run to the supermarket. There’s a lot of healthy options here as well. Including cereals. “I am a big fan of A&S and have been a customer for the past 40 years. While I lived in Pleasantville for many of those years, I no longer live locally. I make an extra effort to pass them on my way down from Hartford, CT to NY. That said, I had an experience today that makes me wonder, so BEWARE. I went in to buy fresh mozzarella and picked up a few of their delicatessen items. a few got weighed on the scale that I could not see, the last one on a scale I could see. Before putting the plastic container on the scale, the scale read 0 instead of minus something to address the weight of the container. They were effectively charging me $18.99 a pound for the plastic container. I called them out on it and to their credit they deducted $2.00 from my bill. I found this disappointing and will make sure to watch the scale in the future.“
