“When my brothers were kids, they would stop to eat at Hiram"s on their way back from Palisade's Amusement Park. My mom would always ask why. My brothers replied, "the food is better at Hiram's! When I worked for Thomas J. Lipton in Englewood Cliffs, my co-workers and I went to Hiram's for lunch often. I plan on going very soon! I so love Hiram's for the food and it's longevity.“

“This place is iconic in the food industry. You will not find a better hot dog anywhere. It is truly unique to Walter's. There is no inside, so you just walk up to the window and place your order. They do have many picnic tables, so seating is not really an issue. Parking is limited in the back and street, but you can find a spot most days.

“After doing the classic "best X in NYC" search we were surprised to see such an insanely well reviewed hot dog cart pop up. Billy 100% earns this title. Easily the tastiest hotdog I've ever had! “Hungry looking around for a place not too pricey to have a quick made me come across this little Mexican restaurant.
Nice atmosphere with Banda music which is classic to Mexican restaurants (I don't mind it as long as it's not too loud)
Our waiter was a kind gentleman. He could've been a tad more attentive in refilling chips or just give updates from the kitchen but, I'm not really bothered.
Food was delicious it just took a good minute for us to get it.
Things to note: no parking, they charge extra for paying with a card.
Overall, I will probably come back. Just because new York is too large to explore. You really need to make a good impression to have repeat customers without seeing other options first.“

“The egg toasts were delectable! Actually so happy my sister and I chose to come by. It has a tiny kick of spice which was a pleasant surprise. My sister got the vanilla flat white coffee and she loved it and finished it so quickly. The only thing I wasn't over the
moon for was the corndog. I got the mozarella hot dog corn dog and it was okay. I wouldn't get it again.

The space is small but offers some seating indoors and outdoors. I will definitely try to come again for the egg toast specifically.“

“Phenomenal from start to finish!! We were lucky to have the place to ourselves for an early dinner. Dani, co-owner & chef, greeted us with a warm welcome. You could tell right away she had a genuine interest in making our experience special. We started out with a creamy, simple burrata that came with homemade focaccia. The bread was SO perfect. We each had salmon with Israeli couscous and broccolini. The salmon was cooked to perfection and paired nicely with the wine suggested by Dani. Then dessert…it was so difficult to pick just one!!! So we got three! Ana, the other owner, is the evil genius behind the to die for desserts!! Tiramisu, mascarpone cheesecake (we took it to go) and an apple cider donut with vanilla ice cream. (The donut was so absolutely divine that my boyfriend ordered a second serving!!) And can I just say the cappuccinos were on point! My mouth is watering just thinking about it all again! I hope others visit and enjoy the fabulous food, service and atmosphere at Mambo. We don’t live around the corner, but will definitely make the drive back because the whole experience was just that good. I wish Dani and Ana much success. “Was in Harlem for an extended visit and had lunch at Harlem Shake. I loved it so much that I took the family here when they came up from Maryland to join me. I grew up in Harlem and I am excited by all the great restaurants that have opened up over the years. Harlem Shake offers up some great diner food with a Harlem twist. The first time I was there I got the Harlem Classic and that was really good. The 2nd time with the family I got the Hot Mess Burger (Pickled pepper and bacon relish) and the girls got the chicken tenders (Fly Child). The Hot Mess was great and the girls loved the tenders and fries. I would rank it as one of the best burgers that I have had. I also got a watermelon cooler which I would also recommend (if you like watermelon). The staff members were really friendly and the experience was great. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. I would highly recommend you check it out.“

“This new spot in White Plains is a must-try! The food is incredible, and the restaurant is super clean and spacious. It’s the perfect place to grab a quick bite with friends. Oh, and let me tell you about the hotdogs - they’re amazing! But beyond that, the curly fries and funnel cake sticks are also a must-try. They use only the best ingredients on their menu, so you know you’re getting a delicious treat.

“Went there today for the first time with my wife, I had the 10 West burger, so delicious, cooked perfectly and the burger was huge, just the right number of toppings and the bacon jam hit it out of the park. The sweet potato fries were excellent and enough for two people. The chips that come with the burger were also good. My wife had the regular burger with no cheese and an order of regular fries. She really enjoyed it and said it was cooked perfectly. The staff was friendly, the owner, Mel, greeted us, took our order and chatted with us while our order was being prepared. We were given a little disc that lit up and vibrated when the order was ready to be picked up at the counter. One of the best burgers around! A little pricy, but definitely worth it! We'll be going back for another delicious mouthwatering experience!“

“I've been eyeballing this place for months, waiting for it to open. I finally tried it last night. I was a little skeptical at first because I didn't know what the items on the Balkan side of the menu would be like. I took the risk and ordered the Balkan burger because I'm not too into traditional burgers.

The Balkan burger was SO good. The meat was perfectly seasoned and moist. The other toppings were fresh and evenly distributed. The sauce complemented everything so well. But my favorite part was the bread! It's Suman bread instead of traditional burger buns and omg it was so tasty. Very light and it had a light crispiness to it. It's also a good size so I was satisfied and full but did not feel greasy and gross as I usually do after eating burgers. The whole experience was 10/10. I will definitely be coming back for another Balkan burger soon!“

“The food here is pretty great for the price. The burger was bussin, and my boyfreind got the diabetes supreme milkshake, and it tasted yummers. My BF also got the big daddy bacon double patty burger, and it included no tomatoes or lettuce or any other thing to counteract the taste, so it was meh. Fries are soggy and doesnt stand by itself as something I would buy by itsled. The song choice in this place is very distracting, mid AUX.“

“Passed by on a random sunday craving dogs, found it just by googling hot dogs yonkers since I was in the area, we made it there just before the truck closed up shop so no one else was really around, the lady behind the counter treated us like family for the short moment that we spent eating. She was great, the food was great, don’t go here if you’re looking for something more than a truck on the side of the road, which was perfect for me and what I had going on, 10/10 i’ll be returning“
