“Holy magical wizard burger! Vegetarian or not you MUST try a burger from the wizards.. My experience started with the most welcoming host, Willow, whom had great suggestions amongst the menu. Willow crafted the BEST tasting strawberry Margarita 🍓 that there ever was!! Our food was out within minutes and it tasted… O so good! “My partner and I have been to the Aviary many times and we are always excited at the prospect of going again. Last night we had an absolutely lovely day-after-Valentine’s dinner there. Cocktails, appetizers, mains, all fabulous. At first I was disappointed that the fantastic steelhead trout I had there recently wasn’t on the menu, but the short ribs were a terrific alternative. Nick serves a wonderful cocktail and, at this point, he even knows what we like. We enjoyed being in the nest and appreciated that the staff agreed to seat us side-by-side so we both had a view of that beautiful room. Service was excellent, as we have come to expect. No photos, b/c I left my phone at home so as to just be there. Thanks, all.“

I made a post not too long ago asking if any bakeries made those gingerbread frosted bars. My mother used to make these growing up and I haven’t had them in years…
Finally made it to east green bush today early enough(they close at 3)
Anyways..
I got 2 of the gingerbread bars, 1 big m&m cookie, and 1 not pictured chocolate covered Oreo
The gingerbread bars are sooooo good. And moist. Wasn’t overly sweet and sorta fugdy type center. 10/10 recommend.
The m&m cookie was purchased for my son . It was huge but still managed to be moist.
Really good- according to him.
And the chocolate coverd Oreo as you can tell was delicious. That’s the first thing he ate( as to why there’s no picture)
Everything was decently priced too.
This was all under $10 and those gingerbread bars are NOT small“

“Wanted to explore dinner place in Rensselaer, saw this Asian Bistro. They had huge menu, it was exciting but overwhelming at same time. So tried different food, the roll that we order didn’t look really appetizing and also the tum yum soup didn’t taste like Tom yum. However, the Thai basil chicken and salmon carpaccio were really good. I ordered scorpion bowl for drinks, it was large but I enjoyed it. Server was very polite and patience, we liked her. First drink order was taken by 1 server who seem to be in rush, but later another young lady with smiling attitude came and her attitude and service were 5 ⭐️. Again, will be coming back as I live near by and also recommend!“

“I recommend June’s to everybody it’s the best food and very relaxing place to come and count on the best food and if you enjoy a good drink to kick back and enjoy a drink and the owner appreciates all her customers and goes far way above and beyond to see her customers happy I recommend anybody try June’s out you won’t regret it and if you love historic buildings her restaurant is in a old restored fire house that she did all the work herself supper amazing place wish there was more places around the capital region like this. “Excellent chicken and shrimp Pad Thai. My son and I are passing through on our trip from Northern Maine to Cleveland, only staying in town one night. My son asked for Pad Thai, and found this restaurant near our hotel. I ordered and paid online, and our dinners were ready, piping hot, by the time we arrived. We both asked for mild sauce and agree it was delicious. Do not hesitate! :)“

“This is a diner. A diner diner. We enjoyed our visit and the friendly staff and other folks eating. The 4 stars is because one of our team did not care for her food, and wanted a thicker shake. The other said onion rings were soggy from old oil. The fish is fun In that they are fish logs. It was a diner. I like diners!“

“Owner/manager was playing with his cellphone in the corner and didn't say a word to me as I struggled to balance the food and extract 2-20 ounce diet pepsi's. I used to frequent this location 20 years ago. The taste of the food has changed considerably and not for the better. The pizza was somewhat undercooked and soggy. The meatballs were realistically barely a 3.5 out of 5 stars. The pizza was barely ordinary, rated a 3, and that was a gift. The young man who served me at the counter tried his best and deserved 5 stars. Overall, I drove from Clifton Park to patronize this location in East Greenbush. However, it'll be a long time before I return. My message for the owner is that he can do whatever he wants. One thing that he doesn't realize is that I hardly complain or return food. BUT, I'M THE CUSTOMER WHO NEVER COMES BACK.

“We have always gone here for any celebrations and had a great experience. Tonight was good but not great. We were a party of 12 and made reservations. Once we were all seated it was like we were rushed to leave. Ordered drinks which too longer than normal. Order two plates of sushi and they came mid way through our meal. Cooking started before soup or salad. Once the cooking was done. Boxes came out but we were celebrating our granddaughter’s 7th birthday. So was asked if we could get something for her. Took a little bit but ice cream, candle and singing but there were 5 other kids at the table who wanted ice cream too. Asked for them to have some and waited 20 minutes. It was such an odd experience. We will go back but please slow down Hanzo! This is what we pay for…a nice evening out. To give a time frame, we sat down at 435 and we were done at 530 but then waited for ice cream.“

“May 4 at S&S The beer was good as always. The music was very good and Flaco Tacos was excellent. Cold and windy, still a great evening. Beer line was a long wait. It’s better when beer is served at two locations.“
