“Have been hearing about this place recently and just haven't made it out to try it. I wasn't disappointed the pastries were very good and a fair price. My wife and I got lunch she had a chicken salad melt and being basic I got a buffalo chicken wrap. The food was delicious and was made quickly. All around a very good experience. Okay do now the very small cons. Everything on the deli menu was priced very high and the portions didn't really reflect that. Also I might have gotten some gluten free Mac salad because the texture was very odd. That being said it was still delicious. It's a bit far for me to go regularly. But I definitely would go back.“

“My mom took me for dinner. It was awesome. I asked for tempura veggies, which my mom had never had before. She loved them! My dinner was the Hibachi salmon and filet mignon combo. Everything was so delicious, including the soup and salad. I can't wait to eat here again in the future!“

Great stuff. And for an entree was ribs, brisket with sides of chili and salad. A came.with cornbread Everything was spectacular, one of the.best meals I have had. Bacon in the chili and the house dressing being bbq ranch were nice touches. My server Alison deserves a lot of credit too. Pleasant person, hard working, and made great suggestions when I asked. “I love the service. The food is ALWAYS delicious. I’m a sucker for their omelettes. I love a good window seat and to write while I’m there. It’s always clean and everyone is friendly and I love watching all the families and regulars come in with their kids or grand parents. The coffee is good. The parking is endless and they have a ramp for anyone needing the use of it. Desserts galore in tall fridge as soon as you walk in — you can always grab that to go after you finish your meal. “My wife and I have been there several times and are always impressed with both the quality & quantity of food. I love Chicken Tikka Masala and Naan (and have become very particular with both). I find theirs to be on par and possibly even better than my long time favorite, Karavalli’s in Saratoga! Last night we tried their Chicken Tikka Masala Pizza and it was amazing! the crust is like a thick naan and topped with their tikka masala sauce (sooo good), Carmelized used onions lots of cheese and what I believe was tandoori chicken and comes with extra sauce for dipping. Our server was also very outgoing and suggested their rice pudding which was freshly made. I normally don’t like Indian Rice pudding as most places make it thin and runny, but theirs was thick, creamy and delicious! located in East Greenbush, it’s totally worth the drive!!! Please give them a try, especially since so many restaurants have suffered due to the pandemic. This place deserves your business if you like quality Indian food at reasonable prices.“

From the time we called for a reservation, right through dinner, the entire staff, and especially our server Casey were so welcoming and accommodating. The drinks, food, and service were all superb! Casey made us feel like we were the only thing that mattered in the restaurant, while the kitchen and bar handled some special requests with ease! “I’ve been looking forward to checking out the restaurant, Dove & Deer, since I first encountered their food when their chef was highlighted at the annual Summer Gala fundraiser here in Hudson last year. Their chef served an incredible amuse-bouche with gooseberries and the chef who was there sharing the amuse-bouches was wonderfully charming and the food was incredible! I was so impressed that I’ve been following their social media since then and have been looking forward to visiting the restaurant all the while! I was recently in the area and while I unfortunately wasn’t able to visit the restaurant in person- I was able to order through Door Dash and the meal was incredible! We ordered an assortment of things to share and were thrilled with everything! -Spicy Kale Caesar with shredded kale, croutons, and shaved parmesan! -Truffle Parm Fries with scallions and truffle aioli! -Mini Wagyu Beef Hotdogs made with wagyu beef, served in buttery toasted buns, and topped with mustard, ketchup, and relish! -Hot Lobster Dip made with lobster claw and knuckle meat, gruyere, gouda, fontina, spinach, scallion, and crispy wontons! It is often very difficult for a restaurant to adjust their menu to translate to takeout; and for them to do so where every single dish was not only delicious but also mostly with a great presentation, says a great deal about their attention to detail. This is a restaurant I look forward to dining at again many more times over the years!“

And the new building and seating are far superior to those in the prior incarnation. Sonya and her family have done it again! For us, Pad Thai Noodle is an essential fixture in the restaurant scene of the Capital District. Their Green Curry (my favorite) and the signature Pad Thai (my wife’s fave) are simply unmatched around here. Highly and unreservedly recommended.“

“The food was delicious! It’s a casual sit-down eatery with a relaxed atmosphere. They don’t serve alcohol, which is worth knowing ahead of time.

We had the spicy dumplings and the spicy Mala beef noodle soup. The soup came with lightly cubed and fried tofu, tofu sheets, crunchy mushrooms, bean sprouts, lean and tender pieces of beef, and fresh ramen noodles in a very spicy, flavorful broth. The portion was generous—one bowl was big enough for two adults to share. The noodles tasted especially fresh and had just the right amount of chew.

The spicy dumplings were delicious as well. I even took some of the ramen noodles from the soup and dipped them into the spicy chili oil from the dumplings, which was very tasty.

For dessert, we tried the Portuguese custard tarts. They were OK, but I’d still recommend trying them. They’re not super sweet and lean a little more savory—think toasted, buttery croissant.

For two people, the bill came to about $48, including a can of Sprite, a can of seltzer, and tax. I tipped $20 on top of that. Service was pretty good overall.
