The staff is awesome, coffee options are delicious but I wish there were more flavoring choices. Atmosphere is an aesthetic vibe but sadly, not very cozy. Nice to sit at the windows and watch the goings on in town though.”

“Went on international donut day, donuts were good but a bit of chewy texture. Only thing that was disappointing was the cinnamon roll, it was dry and hard. (Edit) So I came back after the owner asked that I retry the cinnamon roll, the 2nd time it was definitely better and fresher but maybe I just prefer a thicker roll but wasn't dry. The fudge fancy was decent but on the smaller side compared to other local bakeries. The Lobster tail wasn't bad just have never had a custard filled so it has a different taste and it's very crispy. The Maple Cream Bacon Cronut was amazing and made the trip worth it.”

“Great experience and value here! The space is bright, open and clean. I got a taro milk tea with brown sugar boba and 2 2-protein make your own poke bowls. Yum! The food was fresh and lots of choices. I also like that avocado isn’t an extra cost, which it is at many other poke restaurants. I look forward to returning for some of their spicy ramen!”

“I have never had food I didn't love. The soups are amazing, all of them. It is a favorite for the locals but after going there just a couple of times they remember my preferences. Staff is great, friendly, efficient, top notch. The crowd is friendly and lively.”

“Husband and I are repeat customers to Roots. We LOVE their unusual dishes and home made soups. Tonight I very much enjoyed the lobster Mac n ‘ cheese. A recommendation from owners daughter Ayla. I HAD to give it a try. Ayla was correct. I was not disappointed. Creamy , cork screw type pasta with plenty of REAL lobster and seasoned well. Husband had home made meatloaf dinner along with a cup of pumpkin bisque soup. He was very pleased. Owner and daughter were hands on and sweet. We will be back.”

“My pizza was baked just how I like it - no brown cheese. As I use a cane, the young man who presented me with my pie went above and beyond and carried the pizza to my car and placed in my car for me. Griffin’s is a go to place for me because their food does not disappoint.”

This place is so cute on the outside, and fast, affordable, and delicious on the inside! The portions were huge, the food was fresh, and the prices were competitive with chains like Chipotle or Panera. 5/5!”

“Not my first review of this fabulous restaurant and it won’t be my last! Pico de Gallo was my first choice for my birthday dinner and it never disappoints! Perfect margarita and guacamole with house made crisp chips. Dinner was vegetable enchiladas filled with broccoli, mushrooms, carrots and cauliflower floret. This dish was topped with melted cheese, fresh cotillo cheese and house made tomatillo sauce. The sauce was sweet with a bit of a kick! All served by accommodating, friendly staff. “I always enjoy my food when I order from here! Always a great experience with Maria and Nikki! Always so nice and accommodating, I served tables for 10 + years at a lot of high end restaurants and they are an awesome example of how service should be, However everytime I order something on Sunday evenings the blonde girl and the brunette girl that work there both have terrible attitudes like they both absolutely hate their jobs, I never see either one of them smile , or take any kind of personal approach to their customers at all, which in my opinion as a someone who worked as a server for so long might result in less tips or even a negative vibe between the server and their table… last night I ordered 2 orders of French fries and asked for some plastic silver wear , the brunette girl looked at me and said! “I guess but I don’t really see why” … maybe because I’m a regular paying customer .. but maybe that’s just me… and another time I placed an order with one of the girls , and asked for my total, and had me wait on the phone for over 5 mins for my total while she stopped and ran her food… something that takes 30 secs took 5 mins…in my personal opinion as a server those two ladies show a big lack of professionalism, I do not recommend Sunday nights when these two girls work! But I absolutely love this place when it’s any other day of the week”

Sarah Gray has pulled off the rare feat of creating a place where long-time locals and transplants hang out together, in what feels like your best friend’s living room. Michael and Jenny are brilliant bartenders and make every single person who walks in feel special. The southern comfort food is delicious, the antique store in the front is a perfect place to perch with a friend or catch the live music most weekends. You will feel like your life became an episode of Friends when you walk in and pull up a seat at the bar and start meeting all your neighbors. Can’t recommend this place enough!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
