I remember when it was a small luncheonette in East Harlem. It has several locations now and it hasn't changed. I love the food! I don't live in New York anymore, I live in Georgia now and NOTHING comes close. I loooove the red rice and beans, as well as the whiting. They are THE ONLY place I will get whiting because they fry the small to medium whiting that are DELICIOUS! Places out here like the large tasteless ones :(

The mac n cheese could be better, kinda mid, with a saucy texture. The yams are kinda tolerable only w/ the mac.
