Andy's Restaurant offers a mix of average-priced dishes with varying costs for the same meals. While the food is decent and freshly prepared, the prices can sometimes be inconsistent, with one reviewer mentioning a $20 difference in the cost of the same plate. The atmosphere may be distracting for some due to the presence of panhandlers and beggars. However, the restaurant is praised for its great prices, especially for lunch specials, and friendly staff who provide excellent service. The place is suitable for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, with a reputation for fresh, delicious food and welcoming service. Vegetarian options are available, although it is not a dedicated vegetarian restaurant. Overall, Andy's Restaurant provides a unique experience that reflects the diversity of the Dominican diaspora in NYC.
