Bar Sprezzatura Reviews
Had seen some cool videos online of this place and thought Id bring my husband for after dinner drinks for his bday and check out the rooftop patio. Made reservations online about a week in advance and selected the patio seating and also specified in notes to please have outdoor patio seating as it was my husbands bday and thought it would be nice. So was very disappointed when we got there to be told there was no patio seating available as they had a private event going on outside....read full review
We had an amazing night. The food was delicious. Exceptional service - Michael and Zack are the best! DJ Tiff McFierce was on fire all night! Thank you! We'll definitely be back.
After seeing the incredible final performance of Death Of A Salesman at the Winter Garden Theatre, we had an absolutely wonderful dinner at Bar Sprezzatura. We shared a Zucchini Tart, Ancient Grains & Fragole, Cappelletti Caprese and for dessert, Sicilian Pistachio Madelines. All were delicious and we’ll definitely be returning.

Bar Sprezzatura is a charming, classy, and chic hidden spot at the top of the Kimpton Theta hotel, offering a bright and warm vibe. It is considered underrated and provides a great scene that takes the level up a few notches. The restaurant is accessible via a long winding hallway with neon signs leading to a penthouse elevator.
It is good for breakfast for hotel guests, featuring a consistent and solid continental buffet with pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs, deli meats, yogurt, granola, cereal, bread, and pastries, accompanied by coffee, tea, or juice. The bar also has a nice daily happy hour from 4pm to 7pm with select wine, beer, cocktails, and a few bites. For dinner, options include a three-course meal. Specific dishes like the potato and leek soup, the Filetto in Crosta—a beef Wellington-style filet with broccolini and mash—and the pistachio cake are noted for being flavorful, tender, and delicious.
The experience is enhanced by great service from an amazing, attentive, kind, and positive waitstaff, contributing to an overall special and best experience. The spot is recommended for those seeking some class over pubs, with many guests planning to return and send friends.
