Stumbled upon Basement, a cocktail bar in Chinatown, NYC, intrigued by its unique front door designed like an '80s vending machine. Decided to check it out on a Thursday night, and surprisingly, it was just us and the bartender. Really great, curated aesthetic with a bunch of different bar games! Music wasn't too loud and I was actually able to hear my friends talk! They also had Abita Purple Haze on draft which is a rare treat. Would love to go again or show out of guests to the city. Amazing atmosphere and free beer pong tables! Drinks were good ( look at drink menu beforehand) and staff was friendly. 10/10 recommend for a night out or celebration after dinner. No bag/ coat check.
