This cozy bright European style Cafe has everything you'd want. Great food, A great chef owner in Rafik, and a good location. We had brunch here which consisted of Eggs Benedict and Salmon Benedict. They were 2 of the best versions of these classics I've ever had. The Benedict had big thick slices of Canadian bacon with some of the best hollandaise and perfectly cooked poached eggs I've had in a long time. Nice place in the E Village for drinks and a casual dinner. Was surprised that a veggie burger, fries, and my friend’s pita and hummus, 2 small glasses of wine (each), and a vodka drink cost $80+. Eh - it’s Manhattan. Service was good.

I eat here a lot. It’s a throwback to the days when everyone knew Aachen other in this neighborhood. Everything, including the price, is good. Nothing “over achievy” or haughty about it. Good decent food at good decent price. Clean place and good service.
