A favorite. The namesake Cacio e Pepe tossed in the wheel of cheese is always a winner! The food is predictably excellent and the staff attentive and gracious. This has become a neighborhood favorite, especially when combining it with movie night as it is across the street from Village East theater.
Went for Valentine's Day dinner. Have been several times before. The signature dish, cacio de pepe, was delicious as always and fun the way they serve it at the table. It was super crowded and somewhat cramped (which is why "ambiance" only got 3 stars) yet nonetheless, the service was excellent. And waitress even gave us free aperitifs after the meal. Excellent meal overall.

Overall we had a good dining experience and would consider going back. The food was delicious, and the service was great at the beginning. Toward the end of our meal we realized we never received our drinks, and then it took forever to the get bill and get out of there, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time.
