“Coqodaq in NYC was definitely buzzing — it’s not easy getting a reservation, we had to put our names in and wait around 2 hours for a table for two. The vibe inside is a unique blend of club and restaurant, giving it a lively, energetic atmosphere. We started with a delicious consommé that set a good tone, and I appreciated the selection of ban chan-style appetizers. But of course, the real star is the fried chicken, which Coqodaq is known for. The gochujang wings were the standout for me, packed with flavor and the perfect kick of spice. The other flavors, though, didn’t leave as much of an impression. Overall, I’d say it was a good experience, but I’m not entirely convinced it’s worth the hassle of scoring a table. The food was solid, especially the gochujang wings, but with the effort it takes to get in, I’m not sure it’s something I’d go out of my way for again.“

“My partner and I just ate here today it's reeeally heckin' good. The chicken cutlets are huge and the Original spice is just the right amount of sweet, and even the standard fries have delicious seasoning. The sweet potato fries are divine. Their boba is also top tier, with my favorite consistency of boba pearls (super soft). The s'mores mochi donut was really good, too!“

“Every chance I'm in Koreatown and have that craving for fried chicken Pelicana is my go to place. I love the Pelicana special because you can customize it. During the summer I love their frozen beers. If you and a friend want a cheap good eat I recommend splitting the Pelicana special there's plenty for two.“

“I saw other reviews here and decided to try it out and I'm happy I did! The wings were large, well sauced and cooked well. I also had the tater tots which were also perfectly done. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend!“

“The food is much better for me VS El Jobito across the street. I'm surprised I don't have to pay more than $10 for most dishes, this depends on the amount taken out/eaten inside but I think it's reasonable. Not to mention nicer vegetables/salads too, when one needs a side dish.“

“I visited this bar for the 1st time. I tried the soy garlic fried chicken and scallion pancake. I also tried their lechee Sojo. I hope I spelled that correctly. The drink was delicious. The apple sojo was delicious as well. I didn't wake up with a hangover, and I drank a lot. I tried the karaoke, and that was so much fun. I would come back.“

“So good! Worth the trip to K-Town.“
“I passed Joey Pepperoni Pizza when I was walking down Broadway and saw the sign for a reasonable meal of two slices and a Coke for $3.00. I thought it was a good deal but I just needed a slice so I got that. I thought the pizza was pretty good for a warmed over slice. It has a nice flavor and texture and the sauce was very good. I would have preferred to try it when the pizza was fresh for a better determination of the taste but it was still good. Not a bad place to stop for lunch.“

“My crew stopped in for an early bite after work. The bacon cheddar burgers came quickly and were wonderful! Dermot, the owner, was just great. He sat and told us stories about his home in Ireland and how he got to this place. We work at the college around the corner several times a year and will definitely go back.“

“I came here because of their amazing 4.9 rating on Google Maps, however, I was not amazed by their food. I got curry puffs to start my dinner. The puffs were nice and flavorful. The outside was light and flaky, and the insides were well seasoned with nice texture. The sauce came with was too sweet to my liking. Personally I prefer eating it as it is. I pad see ew with shrimp and added beef($5). The flavor was nice and the shrimp was fresh and clean. However, the beef wasn’t so good especially when I paid $5 extra for them. It was too dry and chewy.
Overall, it’s a standard Thai restaurant. The food was nice but nothing special about it.“

“First of all, the food proportions are amazing (i got full from just eating half). The chickies and fries platter are a must try from this place. The man behind the counter recommended to drizzle some green sauce over it, and it was so savory and delicious!!! The burgers and sandwiches are also sooooo good. Each time I went, the guys behind the counter were always friendly and cordial. 10/10 recommend“

“Ended up here accidentally on a layover: Hands down, the best ramen I’ve ever had (springy, slurpy perfection), amazing cocktails (if you like gin the Japanese 75 is a must try!), and whatever the whipped cream, creme brûlée’d banana dessert was tasted like heaven. I even ordered another tonkotsu ramen to go (all the way to Florida) to bring back to my fiancé. They separated all of it, packaged it so it wouldn’t leak, and wrote directions on specific timing for heating up each item! Very impressive service. I’ll be back again!“
