“I work for a law firm in CA and we have an employee who works remotely in NY.. For our employee's birthday I wanted to choose a bakery close to her home and who was local. Stumbled upon Buttercup Bake Shop and they were so awesome! Totally worked with me and delivered the cupcakes with NO hassle. Needless to say our NY employee was super happy and LOVED the flavors and decorations of the cupcakes. ❤️“

“This is a beautiful, refreshing place with warm and friendly service. In short, a little sweet gem of Upper Manhattan. Definitely the best banana pudding I’ve ever had. I recommend that all sweet-tooths visit this lovely spot, as they have a wide variety of colorful desserts where you can’t decide which one is better than the other.“

“Omg love online service!!I delivered online for surprise my bf because we couldn’t stay together in this year bc of Covid-19. Delivery only took 3days even in Christmas week! Package was adorable and thoughtful. it contained cooling pack. And you can add message on gift.I recommend for gift melissa cupcake! I guess Everyone like it! I wish they have more options for gift option like selection cupcakes“

“Got the popular pistachio raspberry cake slice and the mango passion fruit mousse cake. They were both great. The cake slice looks slim but is quite filling. The mango passionfruit mousse had a coconut base which was a little too sweet but the tanginess from the mousse balanced it well. Overall, it’s a decent spot to go to for those sweet cravings.“

“I make a point of visiting Funny Face bakery on every trip to New York, because they have the very best chocolate chip cookies in NYC or anywhere for that matter! Their gooey chocolate chip cookies are huge and packed full of chocolate—can’t be beat, especially warm out of the oven. Their decorated sugar cookies are so cool and clever and also make great gifts (along with a few gooey cookies of course). And it’s such a fun and friendly atmosphere—a must-visit when in NYC!“
