Dorrian's Red Hand in NYC offers a chill escape from typical brunch spots, a favorite hangout since the late 60's. The current atmosphere seems to have upgraded with wheelchair accessibility, and it has multitudes of TVs as well as a big projector, making it great to watch sports. The overall atmosphere is so nice and friendly. Dorrian's still feels like home—friendly faces, good wine, and no-frills charm. It's a NYC institution where good times never get old. The French onion soup is quite good, but the brunch burger might need some sauce. Despite a disappointing experience with fish and chips, the quiet vibe at 8 pm on a Tuesday was enjoyable. Cobb salad was a generous portion, but nothing special. Drinks are very pricey for the location. The back room can be rented out for a good price, and it was absolutely the best time, with incredible service.
