“I've tried a handful of spots at Urban Hawker, but this one might just be my favorite.
I've tried their Chicken Cutlet Curry Rice and their Grilled Chicken Curry Rice. Both are so good. I can see why their curry sauce is in half their menu lol. The curry is not too spicy, and the flavors just hit. It pairs really well with the chicken, whether grilled or cutlet. They also add an immense amount of cabbage. I am a big fan of vegetables, so I always love when restaurants give generous portions of it in a dish.
I'm honestly so stoked to come back and try their Hainanese Fish and Chips (saw many great reviews about).“

“stumbled upon this food truck at 95 Wall Street, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The service was quick and super friendly, which is perfect for the busy Wall Street crowd. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served hot—I could tell they really care about quality. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the generous portions. The menu had a great variety, so whether you’re in the mood for something light or hearty, you’ll find it here. Definitely one of the best lunch spots in the area. I’ll be coming back often!“

“If you are like me and have not had delicious barbecue for a long time, you will probably find it quite good. It feels like a Cantonese barbecue flavor. The pork is a salty barbecued pork, and the king of kings is also a little salty. Others I ordered include beef, mutton, gluten, and chicken hearts, which were both good! I love charcoal grilling + fresh grilling. Remember to bring cash!“

“Was grabbing food at another stall at the Urban Hawker center & stopped by here just to try the char kway teow. It was absolutely delicious, better and more authentic than other places I’ve been to. Would highly recommend trying it out.“

“The auntie at this cart pays attention to the details and does not skimp on the sauce, she used a scissor to make small openings in the noodle for the sauce to seep through to the bottom, giving a nice coating of sauce to every part of the noodles instead of letting most of the sauce pile up on top. Prices are reasonable as well!“

“Big plus for me is the variety in the salad. Chick peas, corn, onion, black beans and tomato. Service was quick (and it was a decently long line) and friendly.
Only loses a star for being a little stingy on the meat portion“

“Pondicherry Perfection! Forget fancy restaurants! The best dosas in NYC are coming from this unassuming food truck, and the Pondicherry Crepe is an absolute must-try!
Let's talk about the crepe itself – perfectly crispy, yet tender, with that signature dosa tang. BUT, the real magic is inside. The Pondicherry Crepe is a flavor bomb: a delightful blend of spices, vegetables, and a certain je ne sais quoi that transports you straight to India. It's complex, satisfying, and utterly addictive.
Beyond the incredible food, the team running this truck is phenomenal. They are so passionate about their food, eager to share their knowledge, and incredibly kind. Their enthusiasm is infectious, making the whole experience even better. You can tell they put their heart and soul into every single dosa they create.
Seriously, seek out this food truck. Order the Pondicherry Crepe. Prepare for a flavor adventure. The best dosas in NYC, served by the best team – it doesn't get better than this!“

“Hainan Jones – Delicious Singapore Chicken & Rice!
I tried the combo with roasted chicken and steamed chicken, and my wife ordered the steamed chicken rice. Both were moist, tender, and full of flavor — exactly what you want from authentic Hainanese chicken rice. The portion size was perfect for one person, and the meal came with a warm cup of chicken soup and steamed vegetables, which made it even better. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying. We really enjoyed our meal and would definitely come back!“

“I stumbled upon Big Boss parked near New York-Presbyterian during a hectic day and couldn’t have been happier with my experience. The food was absolutely delicious, I had chicken over rice with veggies and each bite was bursting with flavor. The portions were generous and filling, and it felt like a real treat in the middle of a busy hospital neighborhood. My mom and I enjoyed our lunch 😊“
“I don’t buy Mobile Cart food much , but this one was good . I just had a 5 min break and didn’t have time to go to a restaurant to order food . Rafiqis had no customers and quickly went and ordered. The price on Tyne right side of the truck isn’t the right amount . They increased the price and had a different rate on the front of the cart ..
Got felafel over rice .. felafel was fresh ….i actually liked their saffron rice . It was fresh and tasted good . They gave it with salad and some sauce on the top. Costed about 11$ , which isn’t bad . Quantity of rice was small but it was good enough ! My friends had lamb over rice and they liked it . Good experience overall …“

“It was a awesome atmosphere with very little seating options, the food was amazing. I had the Dubai chocolate waffle, and the hot chocolate and it was the best waffle and hot chocolate I’ve had in my life. The service was helpful, but they didn’t do anything outstanding.“
“Great food, and excellent coffee!“

“These are best tamales in NYC! 😋
Yolanda and her husband are the kindest people, true hard-working, loving, members of the community. And I've ordered ahead several times, to take to my family in Chicago, DC, etc. There are so many options, and you can get them spicy or not.
It's good to call ahead just to make sure it's a day they're at the corner. SOooo delicious, and I always feel happy after seeing them.“

“Stayed right around the corner from the Times Square location 3 times. After trying them the first time, made it a point to always swing by there at least once to grab a bunch to take home. I love meat, but the portobello surprised the heck out of me- out of this world! Must stop by if you have time. They travel and reheat well, also!“
“A group of four of us met here after going to see the tree in Rockefeller Center. The restaurant was very quiet at 4:30pm when we arrived. We were met at the door, by a woman who was possibly a manager or owner, with a warm greeting and seated immediately. The service and food were both very good. The music was fun and upbeat but we could still hear each other talking. Great find! Would definitely recommend!“
“amazing experience! every time I'm in the city i have to make a stop at Gyrohouse“
“These street carts were peppered all over NYC. Am unsure why certain carts have longer queues than the rest even though they were all from the same franchise. Nothing much to comment on the taste. I didn't like the mess on the plate which was heavily slathered in white sauce. Reasonably priced. Portions are huge.“
“From staff to food, every element worked together perfectly. Workers here deliver excellent, efficient attention with amazing cuisine. Their culinary execution is consistently superior. Tasty cooking, reasonable prices and truly attentive staff performance. Kabul Halal Food breaks the pattern of disappointment I've experienced.“

“I went to a lot of restaurants in New York that were much fancier than this cart but this was my favorite food of the day. The cheong fun was gooey and had qq and a decent amount of meat. For $5 for the large, it was such a deal and fed three of us as a snack. I would go back in a heartbeat and order more. Wish we had this in Chinatown in Houston.“
