“If you are like me and have not had delicious barbecue for a long time, you will probably find it quite good. It feels like a Cantonese barbecue flavor. The pork is a salty barbecued pork, and the king of kings is also a little salty. Others I ordered include beef, mutton, gluten, and chicken hearts, which were both good! I love charcoal grilling + fresh grilling. Remember to bring cash!“

“Just passing by and purchased two Onigiri (prim and salmon). They’re very delicious and will come back for sure. The quality of steamed white rice is excellent!“

“stumbled upon this food truck at 95 Wall Street, and it was such a pleasant surprise! The service was quick and super friendly, which is perfect for the busy Wall Street crowd. The food was fresh, flavorful, and served hot—I could tell they really care about quality. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the generous portions. The menu had a great variety, so whether you’re in the mood for something light or hearty, you’ll find it here. Definitely one of the best lunch spots in the area. I’ll be coming back often!“

“This place serves really delicious Hainanese chicken. I prefer the fried chicken over cooked, and they offer both. The congee is amazing but sometime they run out. If you're in the theater district and don't want to deal with all the tourist, I highly recommend making a stop here. Once ordered, you can find a table in the cafeteria style seating area.“

“I came to this street specifically to taste Billy's perfect hot dog! I came to the place 3 times on different days until suddenly he was there. Don't miss a visit to Billy. The experience is exceptional and unique in taste and the special person he is. The most humble and kindest man you will meet in New York. The hot dog is so delicious and the toppings were from another world! This is my best memory from my first visit in my life (June 2023) to New York! I miss this place ❤️ I WILL COME BACK 🥇“

“My partner has been talking about the Dosa man in NYC for a longggg time! We finally made a trip to NY and NY Dosas was our first stop. Waited in line for an hour and honestly it was so worth it. It was a beautiful sunny day in Washington square park when we went so it made waiting more enjoyable. Plenty of places to sit on the benches of the park. Make sure to ask for extra napkins because it can get a little messy. Sambar and coconut chutney are great! Any time I come back to NYC I'll be visiting the Dosa Man! ❤️🪷 Updated from previous review on 2025-04-22“

“These guys are the best halal cart I’ve had in the city. You know it’s good when there are a few carts within blocks, but these guys get lines in front of theirs daily. The locals know it’s worth the short wait. They are very pleasant happy people as well!“

“These are best tamales in NYC! 😋
Yolanda and her husband are the kindest people, true hard-working, loving, members of the community. And I've ordered ahead several times, to take to my family in Chicago, DC, etc. There are so many options, and you can get them spicy or not.
It's good to call ahead just to make sure it's a day they're at the corner. SOooo delicious, and I always feel happy after seeing them.“

“Excellent Singaporean restaurant inside Urban Hawker. I got the chicken cutlet curry rice and it was fantastic; highly recommend. I also tried the lychee drink, and while it was good, it was not carbonated and I really feel it would benefit from being so.“

“The auntie at this cart pays attention to the details and does not skimp on the sauce, she used a scissor to make small openings in the noodle for the sauce to seep through to the bottom, giving a nice coating of sauce to every part of the noodles instead of letting most of the sauce pile up on top. Prices are reasonable as well!“

“This was a really good Bak Chor Mee - coming from a Singaporean who has made Bak Chor Mee himself given a general lack of it in Europe. 95% technically correct (which is remarkable! Everything from fried fish to the lard), just lacking some sambal.“

“This place gets a worse rep than it deserves.
I got the salmon teriyaki fried rice and it was tasty and the salmon was a quality cut. Cant ask for much more for $18 in this area of NYC.
The fried rice has good wok hei flavor. It is on the wet side, which I personally don't mind but I can see it being a turn off for some.
The teriyaki sauce was a little too sweet, appealing to commercial tastes (not that authentic).
Maybe don't go for the seafood fried rice and opt for a dish with a decent cut of protein to get your value for money.“

“I went to a lot of restaurants in New York that were much fancier than this cart but this was my favorite food of the day. The cheong fun was gooey and had qq and a decent amount of meat. For $5 for the large, it was such a deal and fed three of us as a snack. I would go back in a heartbeat and order more. Wish we had this in Chinatown in Houston.“
