Gatsby's Landing is a restaurant that offers solid food and outstanding service, making it a great spot for an early dinner before a show. The location is ideal, directly across from popular theaters, and the ambiance is lovely, resembling a fancy speakeasy. The restaurant caters to various dietary needs, including vegetarian dishes, and it is kid-friendly and wheelchair accessible. There is a paid parking lot next door, though street parking can be difficult.
The service at Gatsby's Landing is a highlight, with attentive and friendly staff. Servers like Tommy and Valen are praised for their professionalism and kindness, while the bartender also provides excellent service. Guests have enjoyed dishes like the duck carbonara, frittata, and the duck hash. Other popular options include calamari, squid ink pasta, and spicy soppressata pizza. Desserts such as tiramisu, creme brulee, and chocolate cake have received mixed reviews, with some noting that the chocolate cake wasn't particularly special.
However, there are a few cons to consider. The price to food ratio may not be the best, with small portions and higher entree prices ranging from $30-50. There is also a non-cash surcharge. Overall, Gatsby's Landing offers a great dining experience with solid food and outstanding service, but it comes at a higher price point.
