Had the pleasure of dining at Gjelina on Saturday evening and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. My mom was in town visiting, and I’m so glad I chose Gjelina for our evening together.

I’ve been often to the LA outposts and was looking for a brunch spot in the neighborhood. Found this and thought “Perfect!”.
Nice atmosphere, interesting design.
The menu says on the front no modifications or substitutions, but the website doesn’t say it.
I asked for the tarragon to be kept out of my scrambled eggs. Instead of a gentle “I’m so sorry, we just can’t do that”, the answer was a brusk and harsh “no!”.

Wow what a fantastic meal from an eclectic share menu with options for everyone. Solid beverage program with good value on the wine list.
