Guastavino's

First time photographing an event there. Wonderful venue. Reminds me of a Cipriani event space with the architecture. The dinner was very good. As vendors, we got the main course. The Tenderloin of Beef was definitely souse vide to very rare! Red rare. I enjoyed it, but a few others were a bit taken back. It was Steak Tartare or Carpaccio rare, then seared to serve. Guastavino's has old world charm and modern style with top notch professional staff. Very well organized from start to finish. No complaints whatsoever. I went to an auction event on a Mony night and must say the open bar and hors d'oeuvres and casual buffet was delicious continuous and delicious throughout the night. Full staff throughout the venue. This event space is beautiful!! I attended Guastavino's for a private event, WBC's (Women Builders Council),18th Annual Champion Awards Gala on a Thursday evening from 5:00 P.M to 10:00 P.M. Guastavino's is located under the 59th street bridge. The easiest way for me to get from the financial district/seaport area in NYC was to take a UBER to Guastavino's.
