It seems that nearly everything is prepared to order, and as a result if coming here you should be prepared to possibly wait longer than most restaurants for your food to be ready.
I do wish there was a way for the restaurant to communicate this to avoid problems with new customers who may be expecting quicker service.“

“From the outside, one might think this a food hall of sorts. Its definitely more of a hub for food delivery services. There were countless pickup orders and, including us, 2 other tables that came to sit and eat. The atmosphere has grande ceilings with floor to ceiling windows with bar seating running along and maybe 8 tables. There are hard-copy menus and touchscreen stations to order but the choices are countless; resulting in a time consuming firt-timer experience. There's 1 kitchen that pumps out separate restaurant menu items. The food was ok. I got a Mexican-style chicken bowl that was crossed with another restaurants curry chicken; bites here and there were different. My husband got an Asian-style chicken fried rice bowl that came out cold. 2nd attempt was saturated in sesame oil and inedible. We didn't realize it at the time but Amex Gold got rid of Goldbelly, replaced by Wonder; big mistake in our opinion as Goldbelly is worldwide and Wonder is limited to big-city access for a lesser quality product.“

“We hired Mia’s Cocina for our wedding and everything was absolutely delicious. The pasteles were a huge hit — for some guests it was their first time trying them, and they were completely gone by the end of the night. The taco bar was also amazing, and everyone loved the mango salsa and guacamole.

The restaurant blends Buddhist philosophy with royal vegetarian cuisine inspired by the Qing Palace. It was my first time trying a full vegetarian tasting menu, and I was impressed by how flavorful and creative every dish was. The mushroom dishes stood out the most, especially the Stichotas japonicus with cucumber sauce, the pan-seared boletus with green millet, and the Nepal mushroom quinoa with pepper sauce. Each course felt balanced and intentional—low oil, low sugar, and focused on natural taste. Even traditional dishes like Buddha Jumps Over the Wall and zhajiang noodles were reimagined beautifully. The dessert, called “Nectar of the Core,” was light and refreshing. Dining at Bodai feels like a calm, thoughtful journey through color, texture, and flavor. “We used Thomas Oliver's Gourmet Catering back in March and I truly do not have one bad thing to say about them. The staff was impeccable and took over a lot of the setup, which was so refreshing. They helped me with tasks that were not even directly related to the catering, and they had a smile on their face the whole time. They had great attitudes and really helped light up the space. “Chef David and his team were great, we hired them to do a 22 person dinner party and they were excellent from start to finish. They arrived early to prep and helped setup tables and chairs, bringing a team of 6 or 7 people with them. Our building has a grill area and they cooked the entire meal on the grill, fresh bread, steaks etc and people couldn’t stop talking about how delicious the food was. Some of the best catered food I’ve had at any event and I won’t hesitate to hire them again. They are professional, timely the team is great all around. You will be so impressed with the food and experience .“

“This review is long overdue. However, we are glad we waited because seven (7) months later, we are STILL getting rave reviews from our friends and families about the food at our wedding! We had a VERY difficult venue that required all of our vendors to submit referrals and agree to a multitude of specific rules. Our original caterer cancelled two (2) months out from our wedding date (after a year of planning). We did not know what to do! They had already been approved and accepted by our venue. We were devastated! KRISP quickly reviewed the menu / pricing we had negotiated and budgeted with that caterer. They were SO reassuring, and offered us MORE options for a lower cost. We could not believe it! After experiencing an incredible tasting at their gorgeous venue, we were SOLD! THE FOOD IS UNREAL, seriously! When we were low on alcohol, they ran to the store to ensure that our guests would not notice any lapse! They even secured and stored our cake topper for months after our wedding! Despite coming on board with less than 2 months to prepare, KRISP navigated a VERY difficult venue, provided incredible service and kept all the stress out of our site! If you don't scoop them up while you can, your event will not be as good as it could have been.“

“So I gotta be honest, as a native New Yorker I was very turned off by this place because of the prices and the obvious gentrification vibe (I’m sorry I had to say it) but I decided to give it a try since I’m always looking in while waiting for the 33 bus.

I gotta say I was just pleasantly surprised.

The quality is honestly outstanding and I truly appreciate the care put into this classic burrito! The eggs are fluffy, the tortilla looks and tastes homemade, the caramelized onions give it a nice sweetness, and there’s a pleasant crunch from tortilla chips! And the mild salsa? AMAZING they should honestly sell it, it’s that good.

The coffee is also pleasantly good quality and my cappuccino was perfectly sweetened by the adorable barista.

HOWEVER, I gotta deduct one star from the lack of some salt and flavor IM SORRY. The salsa was doing alot of heavy lifting here. Also it took a hot minute to get my food while the place was empty and my burrito wasn’t really hot…a little weird. Thankfully still made my bus and was able to eat my burrito right away.

Overall would definitely come back to try the Caesar salad wrap, other burritos, and more cappuccinos!

The communication was great, organized, and made everything easy. Late in the night they brought out Chick-fil-A sandwiches and nuggets, and our guests went crazy for it.

The presentation, the quality, the taste, the originality - everything was amazing. Everyone was very professional. I really appreciated that they went out of their way to congratulate and recognize my husband's parents and my parents. They also went out of their way to accommodate our relatives with special needs in a very professional way, which was very appreciated.

We have gone home for Thanksgiving and Christmas since our wedding - and everyone has raved about the food at our wedding. Truly, our NYC wedding felt so much more special because we had Vienna Calling, and I cannot thank them enough!!“

“My niece got married and used Marcia Selden Catering for all of it. There were three days of events where catering was needed. It seemed as if it was all of the same staff that worked all of them. They were all friendly, accommodating, and very professional. By the end of it all, I felt as if we had known all of them forever. That was really cool. The plethora of passed apps, dinner buffet, cocktails, and the the brunch buffet were THE best catered food I have ever had in my entire life and 30+ year career in the food and beverage industry.
