Mangia 48th Madison - Italian Food & Corporate Catering NYC is a popular spot known for its delicious Italian cuisine and welcoming atmosphere. Customers appreciate the friendly and fast staff, especially at the counter, and praise the quality of the food, including sandwiches, pasta, egg sandwiches, and desserts. The hot bar offers a variety of options, and the salad selection is comprehensive. The restaurant also provides excellent catering services, with punctual delivery and courteous staff, making events stress-free. While some mention that the sourdough pizza was too thin and oily, overall, the food is beautifully presented and full of flavor. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for both casual visits and takeout. Regulars often enjoy the kale salad with teriyaki salmon or a morning cappuccino, though some feel the coffee prices are high. Overall, Mangia 48th Madison is a favorite for lunch and catering, appreciated for its good quality and friendly service.
