“Our friends hosted their wedding at Deity this last weekend and if I had one word to sum up the experience, I would say it was magical! The venue itself is absolutely stunning and beautifully unique! There are multiple levels that can host an array of different settings and vibes, which I loved! We started our day on the fourth level in the bridal suite, which was spacious enough for 14 of us to get ready. We then moved on to the fifth level, which is a beautiful rooftop terrace for photos. Moving on to the third floor, we attended the wedding ceremony in a room that had been beautifully decorated to suit the tastes of the bride and groom. This room was flipped over for dinner as we had cocktail hour and hors d'oeuvres on the second level bar area, which was adorned with soft lighting and an intimate seating area. Finally, we moved downstairs to the first level, which was a room with beautiful art deco ceilings, to dance the night away for the reception. Although the venue itself was a gem, what impressed me the most was the staff and service. The food was absolutely delicious, but more than that, they seemed to think of every single detail to make it an unforgettable experience. The owners were personally involved in the process from beginning to end, which made me feel confident in knowing someone had such a personal investment in the event. I’d highly recommend Deity for a wedding or other special social or corporate event.“
“Hire Frank and the crew at Bassett Caterers today! Bassett does things old school, and it was SO refreshing to be met with real customer service. From day 1, Frank was so friendly and offered utmost flexibility in every aspect. We booked Bassett and then 6+ months later when we called to talk through details, Frank was able to repeat back to me all the specifics we had mentioned on our first call! Bassett offered so much variety for our buffet, and Frank kindly added extra flare to side dishes, making it so much more than we imagined. He and his crew were efficient and set up our tables exactly as we requested, and kept snacks in the bridal suite all night. They even put together an ice cream sundae bar for us! The presentation is no frills but still elegant, just like we hoped. Everything was reasonably priced and everyone had plenty to eat, and all Frank's suggestions were worth it. They are real pros!“

“Meat, chicken selection is in abundance and fresh. A beautiful selection of freshly made salads cold cuts and various cheeses is sliced to order. Prices are a little high but worth every penny. They take phone orders for delivery in a timely fashion. Avenue U location is pristine clean, cashiers and other workers are very nice and helpful. Freshly made Italian breads and rolls every few hours. They offer catered dishes for large gatherings, corporate & private parties.“
“Their Gluten Free Bagels are amazing. I ordered online which was a mistake - it said it would take 45 minutes to be ready but when I walked over there 5 minutes later it was ready (phew!) and I think I was charge a fee. So ORDER but not online!Love love love the bagels.“

Lola and Cat were wonderful during the entire planning process - so communicative, easy to talk to, and thoughtful with all their ideas. They helped us with planning our menu, handled all our rentals for furniture, linens, and serve wear, and worked with our planner to create a timeline for cocktails and dinner that flowed perfectly. We were blown away on wedding day - our tables turned out so beautiful and everything that was served was absolutely delicious. We even had many guests tell us it was the best wedding food they've had! We loved that everything was served family style and featured gorgeous, in-season produce. People STILL talk about how good the food was and I'm sure they will for years to come. From the tasting 2-3 months before, you are hidden on-site and try everything that couple is having that wedding night. Most of the options we ended up choosing for our own wedding, too! (pro tip- get the beef lo mein station!!!) Having our cocktail hour food set up for us with our signature drinks the moment our ceremony ended was such a blessing. We ate and giggled and we were simply in awe at how perfect it all was just before freshening up and entering our reception.The staff at the LW executed an absolutely perfect evening and timeline. They coordinated dances and dinner with our band, ensured the bridal party was where they needed to be and when, and took care of our parents, grandparents, etc. all day long. From the valet and bathroom attendants, to the coordinators and management, and whoever helped gather my belongings at the end of the night - thank you, THANK YOU, thank you. From the bottom of our hearts, our wedding day was absolutely, undeniably perfect. I'd recommend the Liberty Warehouse for any upscale event and can chat about it for hours on end.“

They have a lot of variety of different things that you can buy from their takeout as well as make a party together with your family and friends. “I had to write about Pistache NY because I have never ever met someone as incredible as Yvan Bedouet. I was planning to have Pistache NYC cater my New Year's Eve party since he came so so highly recommended. I spoke to Yvan multiple times with many changes, where he had to draw up new menus which he did without any objection. It turned out I had to cancel due to medical reasons. He was so gracious, not only refunded all the money although I had insisted he keep a portion since I had to cancel, HE ASKED FOR MY ADDRESS AND DROPPED OFF A BOUCHE NOEL!!!!!I am in awe of Pistache NYC and Yvan Bedouet and can not wait to have them cater my next party.Thank you“

“Time for a recent review. Been here several times over the last few year. Always ordered the same: 8 dozen meat kreplach - frozen, to go of course. (lol!). Why 8? Price = $15 per dozen for a total of $120. Anyway, they are totally delicious. We put them in soup or air fry them and serve with duck sauce or chili sauce for a quick snack at home. Note- they are closed on Sundays in the Summer. Call ahead to check hours.“
“I used Just a Nibble for an engagement party at our house in Brooklyn for about 60 people. They EXCEEDED my expectations. Nick was wonderful to work with, flexible and took the stress out of the situation. He sent out a great team of two servers - Alexa and Xander - and a chef, Pablo. They worked hard, were polite and gracias to our guests, and cleaned up well. The appetizers we ordered were delicious and I had leftovers for days. I will definitely use this team again and recommend them highly.“
