“Bassett catered our wedding at 501 union in august and they were amazing! I knew there would be a lot of food but even i was surprised that there was SO much food! By the time the entrees came, some guests were staring at their plates of steak in shock. We got a lot of compliments on the food, which we thought was even better day of than in our tastings. The penne vodka was a standout as well as the pigs in a blanket and coconut chicken during cocktail hour. Frank’s team also did a great job helping move furniture around between the ceremony, reception, and cocktail hour.

Frank was excellent to work with ahead of our wedding. My advice for others is to just call to get ahold of him as email isnt always as effective. As the wedding date approached he was constantly available and spoke with our coordinator independently many times, and even told us to call his cell when he was on vacation in case we needed anything in the weeks leading up to our wedding.

Bassett was also one of the only caterers we saw that included tableware and linens which was a huge help and cost savings. Very happy we went with Frank and the team!“

“My husband and I hired Not Jus Southern Caterers to cater my 50th birthday party. We ordered Southern style cuisine (BBQ chicken, ribs, yams and macaroni and cheese). The food was a hit at the party! Ms Annie gave us more than enough to feed our guests and then some. At the end of the night there was no food left. My guests were complimenting the food all night and asking for the caterers information. Upon our first meeting, Ms Annie was so pleasant and personable. “We recently held a fundraiser at the World's Fair Marina and we could not be more pleased with how everything turned out. The staff from the beginning were extremely accommodating and made sure to take care of us as we were busy hosting the fundraiser. They even came by and hand delivered drinks and came to us with a plate of appetizers. The little things matter! The room was set up beautifully with pink decor and the room brought tears to many eyes as we threw this fundraiser for an amazing friend of ours. The food was absolutely delicious. We had lemon piccata, pepper steak, sausage and peppers, penne a la vodka plus salad. It was an amazing spread and people went up for seconds. My kids loved the rice in particular and especially the dessert table of pastries and fruit. The bar tender was a sweetheart and their homemade fruit punch is so tasty. It's virgin so kids had it and they loved it. Adults added some liquor and wow - amazing cocktail. Without a doubt, this venue is the place in queens to hold a party. “We booked Hams Sushi for a 50th at home sushi birthday celebration. The sushi chefs arrived 2 hours before to set up and watching them work away was already a teaser for the main attraction. Guest who arrived early were mesmerized as the sushi chefs started making an assortment of colorful nigiri and rolls. The raw fish was some of the freshest fish we’ve ever tasted and the Hokkaido uni and toro were the highlights of the evening.
