I ordered a jalapeño- cheddar bagel with vegetable cream cheese — it was good - not the best I’ve ever had but very tasty. My husband had the Leo sandwich - he enjoyed it. Again. Not great but very good! The staff were so busy but had everything organized very well.
My previous experience with H&H was in a train station and the bagels there were less than fresh. I knew I had to go for the real deal this time. This location wasn't crowded and service went pretty fast. They have a variety of egg breakfast sandwiches as well as flavored cream cheese options. I went for the lox cream cheese and decided to add capers last minute. Great call. This will be my go to. Coffee is bearable but not extraordinary. I'm a little disappointed in the sausage, egg, and cheese. The bagel was a little stale and the sausage was a sausage link sliced in half. It made it extremely difficult to eat and wasn't even distributed on the bagel. I can accept that the bagel might have been stale due to the time I came but for over $9 I would have expected a better sausage experience.I'm willing to give other options another chance but I will not be coming back for sausage.
