Il Mulino New York - Madison offers an incredible dining experience with spectacular food and unparalleled service. The Prix Fixe Lunch menu is surprisingly affordable for the quality received. The lentil and pasta soup (Zuppa di Lenticchie) is delicious, hearty, and perfectly seasoned. The food is in a league of its own, with everything cooked and delivered to perfection. Specific meals include veal al limone, which is flavourful and perfectly cooked, and the veal chop marsala, chicken with lightly panko crumbs, and stuffed shrimp, each delicious in their own right. The burratta appetizer with great extra-virgin olive oil and a touch of balsamic glaze is served at the perfect temperature. Desserts like Chef Mazza’s tiramisu and cheesecake are exceptional. The staff is amazing, caring, attentive, and friendly without being in your face or rushing. The bar service is great, and the drinks are as good as the food. The atmosphere is fun, and the waitstaff truly enjoys their jobs. The new location is wonderful, with food and service even better. Guests are greeted with Parmesan and bruschetta, and water glasses are never less than half full. This feels like a neighborhood spot nestled in the middle of the chaotic midtown bustle.
