Went around 5pm to Jacob’s and it wasn’t busy when I waked in but had steady customers. Folks at the register were nice. The place had some seats inside but I chose to sit outside (it’s seat yourself). Buffet looked clean and someone was constantly tending to it , which was good to see. Based on the reviews I got the oxtail, BBQ pork spare ribs, and jerk chicken. I’ve been very impressed with the food here. Even though it’s buffet style, the meat is always extremely tender and hot. The jerk chicken is definitely the highlight, but many of the other dishes are worth it as well. I would definitely recommend this place for a quick lunch or dinner at a reasonable

I love this place.Went once in 2016 and recently in 2024. To this day it's the only place I've had fried chicken. Everything is done by weight so you'll pay less of you eat less. We got two really decent size meal and two soft drinks for 32 dollars. Good options for vegetables as well, which is not a given when traveling the US, I found.Vegetarian options: Brunch of salads and meatless sides.
