Very nice local spot for nice Italian staples
i went here yesterday afternoon after a trip to the museum! i had gone with my two sisters and one of their boyfriends. i ordered the penne vodka with cranberry juice and chocolate mousse. incredible. ate everything in one sitting and left feeling great. it’s really good portions for people like m, who don’t like taking home leftovers. even hours later i feel amazing and can’t wait to come back. our waiter was really nice! didn’t catch her name though…...read full review
DELICIOUS mushroom pasta and their chicken parm’s red sauce is fantastic too. Greeted by very eager-to-help service when I came to grab my take out order. Will definitely be back to dine in. Nice that they included garlic bread with the take out order - these guys are great.

La Perla Nascosta is a new addition to the New York Restaurant scene that seems like it has been around for decades and should be an Upper West Side classic. The atmosphere is warm, elegant, and filled with Italian charm. The service is amazing, impeccable, attentive, and friendly. Hugo, a server, is great, funny, and attentive. The food is spectacular with authentic flavors and fresh ingredients. The pasta is perfectly al dente, and the sauces are rich and full of flavor. Specific meals include the Eggplant Parmesan, Penne Alla Vodka, Ravioli, Carbonara, Tagliatelle Carbonara, Burrata Salad, and Beef Carpaccio. The tiramisu is also very delicious. The food is filling, well portioned, and the place is clean. There are amazing happy hour specials, and the regular menu is just as great and affordable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy true Italian cuisine.
