Fabulous restaurant. We were fortunate to be able to sit outside along the sidewalk. We had excellent service with Baird and our hostess, McKenzie, too. Great experience and will definitely return for more great food.

L'Amico offers an enjoyable dining experience with friendly and attentive service, though it can get very busy and service may be slow. The atmosphere is elegant and sleek, with good dim lighting and relaxed vibes in an industrial neighborhood. The seafood agnolotti and tagliatelle are tasty, and the calamari and scallops are standout dishes, being fresh and expertly prepared. The skirt steak is also commendable, noted for its tenderness and flavor. The mashed potatoes and tiramisu are worthy accompaniments, along with the hazelnut torta, though the Monte Bianco dessert is not as good. The eggplant bruschetta appetizer and margherita pizza are favorites, with the pizza being slightly overcooked with a burnt crust and less-than-fresh tomato sauce taste. Seating may feel a bit cramped, and some may find the Neapolitan pizza overcooked. Portions can be small, so ordering more is recommended. Free bread with olive oil is a nice addition. Prices are high, with cocktails starting at $20, which some may find not worth it. Gratuity is auto-included for larger groups. While the food and drinks are consistently good, wait times can be long, even for takeout. Reservations are highly recommended, especially on weekend nights.
