Wow to Little Beet for actually awesome lunch. This is probably my favorite health food/salad chain store in NYC for a couple of reasons! 1. Tasty sides that are actually seasoned - compared to other places, I actually really like how they have both cold and hot veggie sides that are seasoned/well-prepared. My favorites include the shaved brussel sprout salad which is tossed with pecorino cheese and cranberries and the sauteed greens which include a citrus-y kale with chickpeas. Little Beet offers a more substantial and more creative spin on buying salads that are made to order. Perhaps they are a little more expensive than a few of the other salad shops but I think their products are better!
