Based on the reviews, Wonton Noodle Garden is a clean and welcoming spot for old school, no nonsense food. The food is consistently delicious and comes out fresh and piping hot. Customers highly recommend the wonton noodles, wonton noodle soup, beef chow fun, sweet and sour chicken, pig feet, sui mai, salted squid, and shrimp fried rice. The wontons are juicy and plump with shrimp and pork, and the broth is great and comforting. A standout is the homemade chili sauce and flavorful chili oil, which some guests even buy to take home. The service is friendly, prompt, and attentive. However, the restaurant automatically includes an 18% gratuity on the bill, even for small parties. While the food is great, there can be a short wait in line and some inconsistency with serving times, as one order of shumai and soup arrived 30 minutes after the spare ribs. Despite this, many guests plan to return when visiting NYC.
