Very popular place. We got there early for lunch and waited in the line for just a few minutes. The food is very good and to be in NY very cheap. They only take cash or American Express.
Please note: they take only cash and AMEX.The oldest restaurant in Chinatown, Nom Wah has a very wide selection of dim sum dishes, from $6.85 (plus tax) and up. The shrimp and pea shoot dumplings, stuffed eggplant and bean curd skin rolls were all excellent. The egg fried rice was a miss, though, being too oily with dry chalky peas.Wait times can be very long on weekends. Best Chinese food I have ever had, it is so good. Food came out super quick and super cheap! There was a 20 min wait but it was a nice night so it was fine. My favorite thing there had to be either the pork buns which is one of the most delicious things I have had in my lifetime or the chicken soup dumplings which are also very good. So if you are in the area definitely go.
