Moonflower is a cutesy wine bar in the West Village, easily accessible from the train. Upon walking in, guests are met with dimly lit vibes. The bartenders are fun, knowledgeable, friendly, and inviting, with a special shoutout to Ali, who is described as incredible, amazing, sweet, and informative. Ali handles difficult situations with ease, accommodates dairy allergies with sourdough bread, and makes the experience worth returning for. The wine list is great, offering fun things people normally wouldn’t buy from the store, including half off select wine bottles. The menu passes the litmus test; guests should try the salted chocolate mousse, which is just delicious. The music is always perfect, with guests often Shazaming songs. The place definitely gets packed on Fridays and Saturdays, but the staff should not be blamed for wait times. A little gem in the West Village, Emma is also helpful and friendly, offering tastes of greatly curated natural wines from Europe and South America.
