Cakes are OK, but more mousse than cake in most instances and quite sweet. Gelato is good, but flavors vary a bit from batch to batch. Cheesecake is good. Haven't had the savory items.
I don't know if this is owned by the same guy as the Omonia in Bay Ridge, but the pastry offerings seem the same. However I will say that they tasted fresher in Bay Ridge vs this location. The coffee is the same though, solid place for a quick treat.

Admittedly, some of the cakes can be hit/miss depending on what you ordered. The Galaktoboureko and the chocolate fudge cake have been delicious. I've had the 7 layer cake two times - the first time it was amazing and the second time, it was a bit dry like it had been sitting out for too long. I've also had the baklava cheesecake and it wasn't anything special in my opinion. There's usually not a line - quick service. Overall, good place if you know what order.
