“We had the pleasure of visiting the patisserie this weekend and loved the friendly nature of all the staff. We weren't able to try any of their cakes due to the presence of gelatin but Diana made us feel so welcome that we will definitely be coming back if not for pastries then definitely for the service! In today's fast paced environment, especially in a touristy area like Seaport it is rare to find such exceptional customer service. Diana took out the time to go over the ingredients and explain what we can have based off of our dietary needs. We ended up trying the banana cookie and the Gluten-free Chocolate cookie. The banana cookie had a lovely texture that is hard to come by - I'm a baker so I could tell it was made with skill. The texture was a mouthy chew without being too hard or too crispy - it was just right. The taste was similar to Craqelin and the banana really added depth to the carmelly flavor of the cookie. The chocolate cookie was even better (although I'm quite biased as I prefer chocolate). It was not too sweet, had a great texture and the pools of chocolate carmel added the perfect touch. I am quite picky so I was very impressed with Diana's customer service and her willingness to explain all the components so I would have the best experience. We left feeling quite pleased and will definitely be back. Diana should be promoted!
P.S. we also got the French Onion Croissant which was MAGNIFICENT! Crispy, perfectly seasoned and those layers of caramelized onion with cheese truly tantalized our tastebuds. Needless to say this place is a must try!“

“I come here almost every single day as a student from HPHS and it has been my to go spot for 3 years, the quality has changed for the better and the almond croissants are delicious. Their coffee doesn’t leave a bitter aftertaste unlike Starbucks, nor is it entirely too sweet. It is a tad bit pricey but for the quality it is good. Would recommend the flan too. 👍 The staff are very nice and understanding.“

“Every time I’m in New York I have to get milk bars, cereal, ice cream! It is truly so good, there is nothing like it. The location in Nolita is a very cute walk up window with really lovely staff. The prices are reasonable, and they now have matchboxes!“

“A few years ago, I was hired to write a series of articles about regional Italian cuisine. Since then, I have been looking for traditional Italian gelato. Until yesterday, I have been consistently disappointed. But this? It was absolutely EVERYTHING I had dreamed about. The prices weren't ridiculous, the bathroom was PRISTINE, the staff were helpful and friendly and it was incredibly, amazingly delicious. My only complaint is that I live too far away from your stores to get it very often. But about that? My hips are less upset about the distance. :) I will definitely be back, though!“

“Ando Patisserie was a top recommendation from my cousin and so we decided to stop by! It is a cute little bakery that serves unique pastries. We ordered the black sesame roll which was priced at $18. The look is great and so will the taste!“

“This bakery is an absolute gem! The pastries are as beautiful as they are delicious — perfectly flaky croissants, light and airy cream puffs, and desserts that taste like they came straight from Paris. Everything is fresh, high-quality, and made with so much care. The presentation is elegant and modern, yet still warm and inviting. Whether you’re grabbing a coffee and croissant or catering for a special event, you can taste the passion in every bite. Truly my favorite bakery in town!“
“I walked into this café because I was drawn to its beautiful aesthetic, and I couldn’t have made a better choice.
The pastries were freshly baked and absolutely delicious, and the whole place is filled with natural light and lovely details. It has such a calm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay for a while.
My favs: Dulcey Cafe Cylinder and Paris Brest 🥐
A true hidden gem on the Upper West Side!🤍“

“Solid cafe for a quick breakfast and coffee. Their almond croissants are pretty good though they don’t have as much almond filling as some other places like Blue Bottle etc. overall it’s pretty solid for a quick bite. This location gets really busy in the morning as it’s next to the hospital. Lots of hospital staff coming during peak morning and afternoon hours.“

“I frequent this location to grab my morning coffee and I will say the staff here make my morning a lot better. Danny, Laura & Cristina are stand outs. They know how to handle the morning rush with accuracy, kindness and efficiency. I see how they take the time to make recommendations on different goods P.B offers but also remember what frequent customers like myself order. Paris Baguette is lucky to have exceptional staff that go above and beyond.“

“Really exceptional bakery. The physical presentation was delightful. They sold coffee, even at night! The owner was there burning the midnight oil and we got to chat for a few so that was cool. I had the blueberry yogurt cake and the strawberry cream. Both were food and really focused on the fruit to bring out the sweetness as opposed to relying on artificial sugars for sweetness and that was really different and helped set them apart. Open from early in the morning to midnight most days. Everything looked fresh, we'll kept and inviting. I really feel this business cares.“

“I stopped by Ladurée recently and was genuinely impressed. The macaroons and French pastries were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The staff were warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. There's seating available, so it’s a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your treats. Highly recommend if you're in the area and craving authentic French pastries!“

“I often buy cakes from Paris Baguette, and they never disappoint! The cakes are always fresh, perfectly balanced in sweetness, and absolutely delicious. “Thought I’d stop by after dinner. I was greeted by a super friendly and patient guy and selected an Ube croissant and original/classic tart. The Ube croissant had a very slippery and light filling and a sweet and savory chocolate shell. The outside is flaky and fragrant, but the inside gives rather strong notes of yeast. The tart, however, is perfection. The shell is like a more crumbly version of a vanilla shortbread cookie, and the custard is like a cross between a non-bake cheesecake and pudding. Next time, I will still get the croissant, but I might just eat the top part.“

“In the bustling heart of Manhattan, where the city’s energy is palpable, lies a slice of Parisian charm that offers a welcome respite. Paris Baguette on Fifth Avenue is more than just a bakery; it’s a delightful escape into a world of exquisite pastries and savory delights. From the moment you step through the doors, you're greeted with an inviting aroma of freshly baked goods and a display case brimming with artistic creations that are as beautiful to look at as they are delicious to eat.
What truly sets Paris Baguette apart is the sheer variety and quality of its offerings. The pastries, in particular, are a testament to the brand's commitment to excellence. The croissants are a study in perfection—flaky, buttery, and light, they practically melt in your mouth. The pain au chocolat is equally divine, with rich, dark chocolate nestled within layers of golden pastry. And for those with a sweet tooth, the cakes and tarts are nothing short of spectacular. Each one is a work of art, meticulously decorated and bursting with flavor. The strawberry fresh cream cake, for instance, is a light and airy delight, while the tiramisu is a decadent, creamy dream.
But Paris Baguette isn't just for those with a penchant for sweets. Their savory options are equally impressive and make for a perfect meal at any time of the day. On a recent visit for breakfast, I had the pleasure of trying the grilled cheese on sourdough bread, and it was an absolute revelation. The sourdough was perfectly toasted, providing a satisfying crunch, while the cheese was a gooey, melted masterpiece. The combination was simple yet profoundly delicious, and it's a dish I would happily eat again and again. The savory pastries, like the ham and cheese croissant or the sausage roll, are also excellent choices, offering a comforting and flavorful bite.
The ambiance of the Fifth Avenue location adds to the overall experience. It’s a charming place with a cozy, welcoming feel, making it an ideal spot to grab a quick coffee and pastry on the go or to sit down and enjoy a leisurely meal. The staff are friendly and efficient, always ready to assist with a recommendation or a smile. Whether you’re a tourist exploring the city or a local looking for a new favorite spot, Paris Baguette is a highly recommended destination. Its blend of classic French techniques with a modern flair, all within a warm and inviting setting, makes it a true gem in the urban landscape. It's a place that captures the spirit of indulgence and quality, proving that sometimes, the simplest pleasures are the most satisfying.“

“The food is absolutely delicious, and the coffee is excellent. The pricing, in my opinion, is incredibly fair for the quality you get. The staff at this branch, in particular, are so welcoming and friendly. It's near my language school, and I stop by for coffee almost every day. I love this place and highly recommend it. If you find yourself in the area, you must visit! It’s my favorite cafe. Special thanks to all the employees. ♥️“

“I do not write many reviews, but this time I really felt the need to do so. It pertains to the Paris Baguette on 6th and 37th. I’ve been going to this location for years (not a NY city resident). I like many things about it: it’s clean, food is always fresh, staff is always great. I usually grab-and-go, but sometimes I do a sit-down. There’s one particular young man (staff member) who always goes out of his way - his name is Alex. I see him straighten out, clean/pick up trash, he’s always quick and very pleasant, but mostly, incredibly helpful. I felt the need to commend this young man to his supervisor - Neil. I suggested they get to choose a staff member every month (sort of Employee of the Month) and reward them fairly for the work and kindness they provide to customers with either a bonus, scholarship funds, etc. Neil was incredibly understanding and agreed. I hope they do so and continue such a trend for anyone deserving of such reward.
My fave foods - the chicken cranberry salad sandwich (exceptional), just about any pastry and cake slices, their raisin bread and the ubiquitous French baguette! 🤤 Till next time I visit!!!“

“I've been buying from Maritza Cakes for over 20 years, and they truly have the best Dominican Cake, which is soft, fresh, and has just the right amount of sugar.
