Patisserie Fouet is a Japanese dessert bar located in Greenwich Village. It is always very popular and crowded on the weekend. They are famous for their soufflé and it surprised me a lot even if I had quite high expectations.I ordered a Earl Grey flavor soufflé and it came with an appetizer and a dish of sweet bites. Ordered their sesame latte with oat milk and it’s heavenly! It’s similar to the traditional black sesame dessert soup from Asia and they nailed it! Smooth, thick and creamy- would recommend enjoying it with a spoon ?

I shared an afternoon tea set at lunchtime with another person. The sandwiches were awesome. The desserts were a mixed bag. They were all cold. The cold desserts were delicious. The cold pound cake and the cold mochi macarons, not so much. These needed to be room temperature. When I took the mochi macarons home, they were delicious at room temp! The seating is limited - about 4 tables and 6 stools at the bar.
