Pio Pio 6 Reviews
Long time neighborhood favorite for roast chicken served with a tangy garlic sauce. Pio Pio 6 offers great service and delicious Peruvian food at a reasonable price. With a welcoming atmosphere and attentive staff, customers can enjoy a variety of tasty dishes like the combo meal and perfectly cooked chicken. The passion fruit margarita is a must-try for drink enthusiasts. The roast chicken served with a tangy garlic sauce is a long-time neighborhood favorite. The staff is nice and helpful, and there's a pleasant track of Peruvian Andes music to set the mood. The Peruvian Chicken platter is a combo with a whole grilled chicken that melted off the bone; a large salad with tomatoes, lettuce, and avocado; and a large plate of freshly made French fries. The menu also features ceviche and Latin dishes like beans n'rice and yucca, skirt steak, and the highly praised Lomo Saltado, which many customers describe as flavorful and filling. The chaoufa rice with their signature sauce is amazing, and the sangria was good. Located conveniently near the subway line, this restaurant is wheelchair accessible and accommodates dietary restrictions. While some find the atmosphere basic, with potential for a more intimate vibe, Pio Pio 6 remains a recommended spot for a memorable dining experience, whether with friends or family.
