We came on Sunday for brunch with a reservation. It was the first warm day since the winter so the place was packed. That said, the service was very slow--food took almost a full hour to come out and we didn't have a consistent server. HOWEVER this place has the best matcha I've ever had in NYC and the flavor of the huevos rancheros along with the blueberry pancakes was amazing. Based on a friend's recommendation, we visited Post for brunch today and I must say it did not disappoint. It is a charming spot in the East Village. Went here to try their pancakes which sort of look like the ones at Chez but sadly they tasted nothing like them. The edges were crispy though which was nice. We tried a biscuit sandwich - the fried chicken one. They don’t play around with the size of the biscuits - they’re huge.They had a sign for happy hour which went late into the night. If we lived in the area, this would make for a chill neighborhood spot for a discounted drink.
