Raf's Reviews
We were pleasantly surprised by this place for dinner. Good cocktails and the food was excellent with some interesting spices that you wouldn’t typically find in Italian / French cooking. The chicken and pork are both standout dishes. Service was great.
One of the obvious downsides is the dining room can feel a bit packed as you can be seated close to another table.
Prices are high but not unusual for this area of Manhattan.
I’d go back.
Have a wonderful experience here every time. The host, Duane, is exceptional and warm and makes every evening special. Can’t wait to return.

Raf's is a French/Italian bakery and restaurant with a casual setting upfront and a more upscale dining area in the back. The atmosphere is cozy and elegant, making it a great place for a leisurely breakfast or brunch. The menu offers wonderful choices, featuring high-quality ingredients and well-executed dishes. Highlights include the tuna tartare, which is layered with flavor, crab and corn ravioli, and a possibly exceptional burger. The salads are consistently balanced and beautifully dressed. Brunch remains a delight, and the waitstaff is attentive and professional, providing excellent service. The restaurant has a charming, European feeling interior, creating a relaxed ambiance perfect for a date night or catching up with friends. While the food is delicious, it can be on the expensive side, and some have noted that it does not quite reach greatness. Desserts like the white chocolate caramelized budino are a highlight, and many guests have expressed a desire to order more than one to share. Overall, Raf's continues to impress with its lovely ambiance, tasty food, and warm staff, making it a highly recommended spot for a nice dinner or brunch. The restaurant can get a bit smoky from the hearth, adding to its unique charm. Reservations are recommended, and guests appreciate the timely notifications regarding table availability.
