About RAMEN KU-RAKU

RAMEN KU-RAKU is a Japanese restaurant located in a busy neighborhood, known for its set meal featuring two or more types of fish, which is unique to the area around 168th. The gyoza is a highlight, being described as properly Japanese and the best in Manhattan. The spicy miso ramen and Kojiro miso spicy ramen are popular choices, although the lunch specials are limited and the prices are on the higher side. The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere with earthy decoration, creating a pleasant dining environment. Customers praise the generous portions of hearty, savory ramen such as beef ramen with fried onion and a boiled egg, especially satisfying on cold days. The quality of food is highly praised, with particular attention to the broth and tender noodles. The menu features excellent service, a fun selection of appetizers and a nice variety of sake and Japanese beer, making it a good spot for a full and satisfying meal. While some dishes are good and tasty, like edamame and eel hand roll, others, such as grilled mackerel, may be too charred and full of bones for some. The restaurant can get busy, and parking might require use of a parking lot. The building facade is beautiful, and the restaurant is suitable for those looking to treat themselves to authentic Japanese dishes. Overall, RAMEN KU-RAKU remains a cozy place praised for its delicious food and friendly service.
