You know what? We should all take a moment to appreciate this free ferry and experience. It's super crowded and your chances of getting a clear shot of the Statue of Liberty are gonna be next to none but despite this, it is still a free trip to Staten Island and a decent close view of Liberty Island along with a nice view of the Manhattan skyline. One of the best spots to see the Manhattan skyline as well as the state of liberty. And…it’s completely free.
It was free and full of people (like me) catching a sight of the Statue of Liberty. If that’s all you’re there for then it’s a good view but catch a better boat if you want in uncrowded experience because it is busy.
