Sushi Seki Reviews
July 22, 2026, I was recommended by a friend who said since I like sushi, I should try this restaurant and that I would not be disappointed, since I travel and go to many restaurants to review. To my surprise, I was not disappointed at all. The service, sushi was one of the best I have encountered in a while. Words cannot be expressed the service of their professionalism and caring. I was amazed with Master Chef Hojo who has over 40 years of experience. His kindness, passion for...read full review
We are very lucky to have this little Japanese jewel in Chelsea. To me the beef NEGIMAKI is excellent- tender rolls with f beef wrapped around scallions with a light sauce. Sushi Seki is a well-regarded sushi restaurant in New York City, known for its high-quality food and friendly service. The sushi is fresh and skillfully prepared, with a variety of options to suit different tastes. Both traditional and more creative sushi rolls are available, such as the signature rolls and the salmon with torched tomato sushi. The restaurant offers a $177 omakase option, which some customers highly recommend for its excellent sushi, even though some reviewers suggest that ordering a la carte may be a better value. The edamame and hijiki seaweed salad are standout sides, with the seaweed salad being unexpectedly tasty and different from the standard version. While the sushi portions have become slightly smaller in recent years, the quality of the food and service remains consistently high. The restaurant is clean, though tables are close together, and service can vary. Sushi Seki is suitable for a variety of occasions, including date nights and outings with friends, providing an amazing experience of taste and fragrance.
