“It’s such a nice tea shop. The owner was very knowledgeable and friendly. He has a nice variety of teas from green tea, white tea, oolong, to puer. We learned so much from him and ended up getting a bunch of raw puer cakes. Can’t wait to go home and try it! Highly recommend!“
“It’s such a lovely treat to sit in this space and enjoy their oolong. They have seasonal sweets and drinks as well.
It’s a small space but if you time it right you can get a good seat, and if there is a line it’s never an absurd wait.“

“Gorgeous setting with great drinks and food. Our service was outstanding. It's one of my favorite places to spend time when in the city. I brought a group of people here for a work dinner - I was the only one who had been here before. Everyone loved it.“
“Been going here for 4 years! Absolutely adore it. Their lemon pepper is to die for. I also really enjoy their vanilla earl grey tea and jasmine pearls. The service is always outstanding and there is a huge range of spices and tea. Great for gifts or souvenirs!“

“This is one of my favorite spots. I love coming here for tea and little treats while sitting by the window and people-watching. It’s a tiny place, but the tea quality is phenomenal my favorite is the white tea with rose, it’s absolutely delicious. The staff are wonderful, too such sweet women who make the experience even better. I’d definitely recommend this spot!“

“This place has made the best cookie and brownie combination ever. I love getting brookies in Brooklyn Heights from Alice's Tea Cup to Go. Plus, I have been to Chapter I in Manhattan where they made a tasty salad and a delicious Alice's Croque Madame sandwich. Here's hoping we can all still support local business for Alice's Tea Cup whether it's still around in Brooklyn or Manhattan.“

“The taro boba is 🔥 my beast friend and I casually walked from Williamsburg to Tea Art and it was absolutely amazing. I had the Taro, she had the green tea with lychee jelly, both were great with no artificial tastes. Definitely recommend“
“Cute little place. Great tea (I only had the Osmanthus), and the pastry I had (chocolate cream puff) was excellent.“
“Wanting to take my daughter for a special treat whilst in New York for a few days we booked afternoon tea in the Pembroke Room at the Lowell Hotel after knocking back the Plaza after reading a few dodgy reviews. So pleased we did as we spent over 2 hours enjoying every moment. The service was excellent as was the food, especially the warm scones. It’s a shame the cream was “Devonshire” rather than the traditional Clotted Cornish but other than that it was perfection. Lovely small intimate setting too where we felt our custom was welcome rather than feeling just a number as we were one of just 3 tables there. Would we return? Absolutely!“

“This is the second time I've gone to Lady Mendl's this year and both times the food and service have been superb for me and the group I was with. For context I am part of a fashion club that goes out for tea in groups of 5 or more. Yesterday afternoon I went with a group of 10 and the actual tea service was lovely, the staff were very attentive & helpful. The tea was fresh and the food was warm & delicious to offset the rainy weather of the day. As nothing is perfect our experience was lovely until the very end. As we were leaving some members of our fashion group wanted to take pictures in the lobby with the surrounding décor to remember the event. We made sure to be respectful. A middle aged woman with short blond hair and with a heavier build comes into the lobby and immediately yells: "What the hell is this?!". Instead of asking us if we were helped she made rude comments such as "You shouldn't be here" and got snappy at the hostess about our group. She implied we were just randomly in there off the street and made zero effort to actually speak with us. I was informed by the hostess that she was the owner of the establishment. There was no reason for her hostility. I would have been more positive had it not been for the behavior of who I believe was the owner. Her actions towards our group and the hostess left a really sour impression on what would have been a positive evening. I feel bad for the staff if she is like that more often then not. As someone else has stated: there was no one else at the lobby/salon area at this time of this incident. Our party had spent a lot of time and money reserving a table at this location and that blond woman needs a remember to not judge a book by it's cover.“

“This is the best tea shop I’ve been to. I go there every time I am in New York. It has a top selection of Chinese tea for the connoisseurs, and I especially love their Oolong tea and white tea a lot. Very elegant Song dynasty style decoration and tea ware. The owner is very knowledgeable about tea and tea culture. And the Northern Song Dian Cha is so unique not to be missed!“

“Such a classic event (Tea at the Plaza). I actually thought it was a great deal ($125 pp) and the food was delicious, as was the tea. Feels fun to dress up and go out for something fancy! And for a special occasion (my birthday) they brought out a special treat.“
“Dreamiest tea shop in nyc. Within 20 minutes, I had learned so much about herbs and was given a beautiful recommendation for a tea blend for anxiety. The tea tasted amazing and I instantly felt the relief. Would highly recommend this shop for anyone new or interested in herbal medicine and teas. They also have delicious matcha and cute bags. Can’t wait to go back the next time I’m in the city.“
“Such a wonderful afternoon tea experience! The servers were friendly and attentive, the 3 tier plate they serve is delectable! Every bite was scrumptious! The atmosphere was cozy with a very relaxed vibe. If you’re looking for a perfect cozy place for your afternoon tea!! I recommend this place an absolute well deserved 5 star!!“

“A serene retreat in the heart of the East Village where you literally get “whisked” away by the exquisite art of matcha tea service. The selections here are high quality, ground and prepared in accordance to tradition … evoking the tea’s journey, personally curated by tea master Mrs. Mori. A NYC gem not to be missed!“

“I stopped by Ladurée recently and was genuinely impressed. The macaroons and French pastries were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The staff were warm and welcoming, which made the experience even better. There's seating available, so it’s a perfect spot to relax and enjoy your treats. Highly recommend if you're in the area and craving authentic French pastries!“
“I enjoyed the attention of the representative. She was very pleasant and very nice. The organic matcha cheese cake and drink with bubbles (lychee and tapioca) ARE AMAZING. 😋“
“The breakfast environment at the St. Regis New York is quite good. There are not too many people dining, so the dining experience is very good. Premium members of the hotel receive free breakfast. You can choose any breakfast on the menu. The steak is very worthwhile. It is a serious steak meal. Compared with ordinary breakfasts, it is much inferior. The orange juice is fresh and delicious. If the latte is too strong, you can add more. Want milk.“

“Perfect to celebrate my daughter's upcoming early teen birthday. The two of us enjoyed a lovely high tea meal together with a few delicious and thoughtful surprises. Everything was exquisitely prepared and presented, and we loved chatting with our waitress in the gorgeous and comfortable space. Loved the whole vibe. My daughter even highlighted some of the pastries were spot on with what she experienced during her Paris residency—high praise there. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!“

“It was a nice place to just talk and hang out with friends! They also had games and books for you to read while you lounge in their carpeted and cushion area. With the the Christmas lights strung up on the walls, it really felt like you've stepped into someone's living room. It had very homey cozy vibes to it. People are required to purchase a drink or food item in order to enter the carpeted area, and everyone has to take off their shoes before they get onto the carpet area (there are shoe racks).
We tried the rose (tasted like lychee?), mango (mango flavor overpowered the lemonade) and regular lemonade (a bit sour which is a given). But I liked that there wasn't really a time limit on how long you could chill there. My friends and I ended up spending about 2 hours playing a board game and chatting away.“
