The High Note is a fun little bar barely a block from Union Square Station, and yet, it somehow feels cozy and safe from the crowded and sometimes chaotic presence of Union Square. The bartenders, no matter how busy, were always friendly and attentive. Drinks and food both came quickly. They have a good variety of beers for a small bar. Just visiting New York and stumbled upon this quaint little bar with a great atmosphere. The fries may be the best I’ve ever had. Wait staff was very pleasant and attentive. I would recommend a visit.

I really enjoy this place. It’s a little bit difficult to get service sometimes cause it gets really busy but it’s a really cool place to go for happy hour after work. Plus they have happy hour till 8 PM with two dollars off like many of their drinks and eight dollar drinks. It’s a great space to come with work, friends, and plenty of room to enjoy.
